Enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay at this quaint casa located in the beautiful historic town of Trinidad. Our hosts Patricio and Ernesto were so incredibly gracious and served us up delicious breakfast and dinner. The room was clean and comfortable and the whole space was set up with an artistic flair. The outdoor rooftop space was gorgeous with plants and lots of comfortable seating.
We stayed 4 nights with Yeody and Yaima who are wonderful hosts. Our last night, we asked Yeody to cook us a meal. We sat on the rooftop and started with Mojitos, which were the best we had in Trinidad. The meal was fabulous, and Yaima made flan for dessert that was out of this world! Highly recommend this place.
Our review is based on the room, our experience with the hosts and us using the room for an hour. When we arrived we were told that the bathroom was being fixed but the hosts (who speak very good english) had arranged for a stay across the street. We were so exhausted from the long journey form Havana and in the heat, we went over. The other casa was not as nice but had comfortable beds and air conditioning. The next morning we decided to go to the beach but our casa owner couldn't let us use the room after the beach since she had new guests coming. Gran Cana hosts welcomed us saying we could use their room (which was meant for us originally) to shower, change after the beach and would not charge us anything. She personally felt responsible for the inconvenience we were caused. When we decided to go to Cienfegos that night, she even found us a casa to stay in and called them for us and arranged for a taxi. I wish we had stayed with them the entire time. Lovely warm hosts and very clean and comfortable casa.…
This was the most amazing experience and I don’t even know where to begin. Yaima and her family were so wonderful and the accommodations were fantastic. We booked the room last second with the help of another Casa Particular who was booked. We fell in love with everything from the family to the simple yet wonderful accommodations. We have stayed at many amazing hotels across the world and this experience had heart, soul, love and warmth. And a fraction of the cost. We are excited to head back next year with our kids so they can experience this amazing country and city. Thanks to Jaima for welcoming us to their home.
We stayed 2 nights in this Casa Particular, Cuba's version of a B & B. Very modern and comfortable place to stay in Trinidad. Close to everything. Great open upper deck where you could view the sunset & hear music from local/near bars. Good food and owners went the extra mile to get up early & provide breakfast when he had to make an early start to catch a plane in Havana.
