I didn't stay at this hotel so cannot speak for the rooms etc. We only popped in here because we wanted to change some currency and thought a large hotel would have this facility - which it did. However, we decided to stay for the afternoon as the bar did cups of tea and you know how us Brits love a cuppa! Since we had a drink we had a look at the bar snack menu and decided to pick two or three things...and so glad we did! What a great selection of beautiful food at very cheap prices and good portions - so unexpected for a luxury hotel. The bar snack tapas menu actually served a full plateful that could easily pass for a main meal and yet were only around 3-8 CUC depending on what you ordered, including huge pizzas. Superb price and quality. The bar area also had a piano band who took requests and were very talented. So glad we stumbled across it (and went back next afternoon).…
We enjoyed our two night stay. Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room. Breakfast buffet was excellent. However after checkout we were approached by reception that the corkscrew in our room was missing (inference was we had taken the corkscrew) . We did not know of its location, so they insisted we paid the equivalent equivalent to $10.00 U. S. dollars to replace it. We had just just paid $807.00 U.S. for a 2 night stay. Upon confronting the manager we were told this was Corporate Policy. This is silly and has soured our opinion of this company.
Great Hotel and welcoming manager - very hands on. This is the place to stay in Trinidad - great location and helpful staff. Very comfortable hotel and good restaurant We had a lovely room with an outside balcony which was great
We only stayed here for one night, but would love to return. The service was wonderful, very welcoming. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in a great location. We were able to walk all around the city of Trinidad from out hotel. The shower and hairdryer were the best of all the places we stayed. Food and service were wonderful! We would love to come back and stay longer. Highly recommend!
I spent a night with my family in this lovely hotel in Trinidad. We had never been to Cuba before, and decided to expand our route across the country and visit Trinidad. The hotel is so charming, and the service is unbeatable. Upon arrival, we were offered wet cotton towels and a cocktail to refresh us after the long trip. When we got to the room, decorated in colonial style according to the city, they phoned us to ask if everything was to our liking. Even the director of the hotel introduced himself personally and gave us a little insight into Trinidad. Without a doubt, this is an ideal hotel to get to know such a beautiful city!
