Great location and excellent staff who care!

We recently stayed at IBEROSTAR Trinidad Cuba for 3 nights. The hotel staff were exceptional. The minute we checked in we were impressed by reception staff. They then called us when we went into our rooms to see if we needed anything else and if everything was ok…. Very impressed by this gesture! Hotel is beautiful colonial style and impeccably clean. Good location. Breakfast was good choice although a La crate everything we wanted they had. Also Ms Addy came and checked with us each morning if all was ok and wished us a good day! Would recommend this lovely hotel. Thank you to all the staff!

Positive experience.

My family and I had a wonderful experience. The kitchen crew was amazing. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. They are very friendly, professional and polite. I highly recommend this place .

Luxury colonial style hotel in centre

Very impressed by the finish on this hotel in an old colonial building overlooking a quiet plaza. We had a corner room with giant terrace and wonderful bathroom. Hotel was not busy when we arrived and staff very cordial and helpful. Obviously good training by Iberostar. Restaurant and bar pretty dead (guess used for tour groups in peak season) but great options outside so didn’t matter. Only drawback was lack of a pool but beach is only a 20 min taxi ride away and taxi waits for you there as long as you want at a fixed price (arranged through hotel). Worth the money if you have been on the road for a while!

Amazing birthday dinner prepared by Ms.Addy and Mr Yusbey(Chef).

This is the only best hotel I like the most in Cuba. The people are super nice, polite and professional. The day we arrived was also one of my friend's birthday, we plan to give her a birthday dinner party in the hotel without any reservation been make. but we are so lucky that with the help of Public Relations Manager (Ms. Addy) & Chef (Mr. Yusbey), finally we had a very happy birthday party with delicious meals, beverage and good services from the hotel employees. The environment & the atmosphere created by them was amazing & memorable for us. Thank you to Ms. Addy and Mr. Yusbey to put in such effort to make the birthday party dream come thru. They are super amazing employees for the Hotel of Iberostar Grand Trinidad.

One of the best Hotels in the heart of Trinidad

Visited the hotel with friends in February 2023. The Public Relations Manager, Addys, was very nice and helpful and gave us a tour around the hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly. The bar had all the high end drinks as well as all the usual drinks. I really liked the seperate lounge for Cigar smokers beside the bar. Highly recommend.

Very good but not perfect

This a nice hotel. The lobby is beautiful. The room we had was very nice but rather basic. It was a suite with a large well equipped bathroom. The breakfast was rather below our expectations. The reception and male restaurant staff was very friendly. The female restaurant staff less. The location is excellent.

Not value for money

While the hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly particularly Vladimir from the Door, and Wahil (?) From the restaurant, I do have a few comments to make regarding the breakfast: The breakfast was quite frankly terrible. We visited in April, and we were given ipads to choose our breakfast from. We chose seasonal fresh fruits only to be informed that there was only papaya and pineapple. The pineapple was not fresh and came from a can. There were no other options which I think was ridiculous because once you step outside the hotel, there are many merchants selling bananas, guava, even in the casa particulares that we had stayed in, had more variations. The jamon iberico, is only two slices and is not worth the price. We were only 4 tables who were having breakfast, and things took very long to prepare. Most of the waiters and some of the chefs were just standing around and talking and we have to wave to get someone's attention in order to order.... in an empty room. We're talking about a five star hotel here, and the breakfast included is not up to scratch. There is also no swimming pool, or any other amenities that could classify it as five star, frankly. Wifi works perfectly. Rooms were very well prepared- we had a balcony facing the plaza and it was perfect. When asking the reception about the local hikes that could be done in Topes de Collantes, they had no idea which was surprising given that the hotel should know or at least be able to direct clients on where to find the information. To be honest, for a five star Hotel, I expect better and I think the price was way too high for what it was. …

A lovely comfortable hotel

This is a lovely hotel and definitely the best of the 4 we stayed in in Cuba. It is centrally located close to the main touristy areas of Trinidad, which itself is a lovely old city with a very rich (and often very sad) history. The reception area and lobby are nice with comfortable seating and a central water feature. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The ground floor bar and restaurant are big, very clean and airy with views out onto the street. Our first floor room was big, clean and well equipped with a nice balcony. The bed was big and very comfortable. Breakfast is usually a buffet and is well stocked. On 2 days we were there it was a-la-carte as not many people were staying, but that wasn't a problem at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Trinidad. We got a taxi to the beach one day which cost 25 euros return. The driver dropped us off and came back at a pre-arranged time. We also took a trip to the nearby Sugar valley and I would recommend that to see some of the history of the area. I would also recommend the Adita cafe / restaurant about 2 blocks away on Rosario. We had 2 meals in there and they were both very good.…

Fantastic hotel

Excellent hotel in Trinidad without a doubt the best, with all the comforts but preserving its essence, fantastic and varied breakfast. King size beds and comfortable pillows too. 10 minutes from the nightlife area. It does not have a swimming pool but the paradisiacal beach is about 15 km from the hotel. Totally recommended

Luxury in tranquil location

Old school luxury. Great location. Lovely room. Helpful staff . Air conditioning and lovely atrium reception area. Beds very comfortable and room well equipped with h huge bath/shower room and dressing room
