Beautiful location, decent food, and good conditions. I was a little scared to get there since the reviews here didn't describe it as great, but I was happy I have a better experience. the only problem I encountered was with the air conditioning, but that's really not that terrible since, because of the altitude of the region, the temperature here... The accommodations are spacious and comfortable, there is dependable hot water and nice towels. All beds in Cuba are firm with fairly flat pillows. So bring a pillow if you are particular about that. Food is served buffet style, with a cook to order bar for fish, beef or chicken. There is a large indoor heated pool, many hiking paths... More

Spent 2 nights at this hotel. We stayed in the bungalows. These rooms are supposedly better than the ones in the main building. The rooms are fully equiped. Airco works well. Bathroom is small but OK. Our room had two double comfortable beds. I guess, for Cuban standards, this hotel is quite nice. No wifi. The buffet restaurant is below... More

We stayed here for a quick overnight on our way to Cienfuegos and we deeply regret it. Topes de Collantes does not having any restaurants except for one called "Gran Nena" which is extremely overpriced and I do not recommend. We did eat at the hotel restaurant and it was just okay but nothing special. Also $13 per person (A... More

We were in the furthest set of bungalow/chalets away from the reception/bar area. Room in a poor state of decoration and there was still rubbish in the bin from the previous occupants. The sheets had holes in them. The curtains were of varying lengths to fit around the ancient noisy 'air conditioning' unit. Interesting towel sculpture. As this was a... More

This hotel is a nice, comfortable place to stay. It is in the mountains and close to Trinidad. The rooms were colorful and well maintained. The bathrooms were small but well laid out and clean. The hotel had a nice bar area adjoining the lobby and had some nice outside seating there too. The only negative was the restaurant. Since... More

For the price, really not worth it. The receptionist was unfriendly and abrupt, the rooms are ok but mostly have 2 beds - quite a problem if you are a couple on honeymoon! The food it's terrible! This hotel was quiet, clean and neat. There was no elevator but abundant porter service and the food, by Cuban standards, was adequate. It is very close to the Topes de Collantes forest centre and ride and a restful getaway.
