We stayed one night, two rooms. Negatives: Poor welcome from the man who let us in. We speak Spanish, so no excuse for that. Charmless service from the young woman who prepared the room and had to be tracked down about breakfast. No running water in one of the rooms. Dangerous gap by spiral staircase - particularly with children in... More

We are four Danes, who stayed 3 nights at the guesthouse, which we truly enjoyed. Very central, very homelike and very good service. We can warmly recommend the extra service of the home cooked dinner. Bring your own wine - and it is perfect.

The place is around 10-15 min walk from the Plaza Mayor area where it all happens, but it is worth the walk when you are staying at a place which is nice and quiet (the only sound during the night is dogs barking... Very modern, recently renovated casa with two rooms. Nice bathroom, one big bed, new and quiet a/c. Very nice terrace on the roof with good view of the city. Breakfasts are good just as dinners but the second one are quite pricey. The owners are very, very friendly and wanted to help You as much as they can. And this... More

Mariela's home is welcoming, clean, wonderful, and the food is superb. Mariela is a great host who will make you feel at ease, give you full privacy but at the same time will provide you with all the tips and insider's advice on Trinidad and Cuba in general. Thanks Mariela and family!
