We were made very welcome here in their very comfortable home. They have another building over the road with more rooms in. The balcony there is a fantastic vantage point for the sunset and if you arrange in advance you can have a home cooked meal here. Breakfast is taken in a room in the home and is massive. Big... I was initially apprehensive about staying a Casa and I was happy to be proved wrong! We arrived in the evening and was greeted warmly by Vivian, who was kind enough to let us choose 2 rooms from the 3 available in the original house. The rooms were clean and spacious enough to allow us to sleep in small double... More

We spent 2 nights saying with Vivian and Pablo. The house was beautiful and the guest room was decorated to high standards. Best shower out of all of the casa's we stayed in in Cuba (it was hot and had pressure)! Pablo cooked the best meal we had of the whole holiday. Very friendly family and staff. We would stay... This is an excellent hostel and restaurant to eat and stay, Very clean, great service by very friendly people, they make you feel right at home. Food is well prepared, and tasty and excellent service. I would highly recommend Vivian and Pablo Hostel and the location is so central to the Historical Trinidad.

Casa Vivian y Pablo is a few minutes walk from the Casa de Trova and the central square. It provides a relaxing quiet retreat from the buzzy centre. The owners are very friendly. The food was very good home cooked Cuban food. Our room was comfortable with effective quiet air conditioning and a good hot shower. The whole place was... More

The stay at Casa Vivian completely saved our Cuba holiday. After having travelled around Cuba staying in ugly concrete hotels the stay at Casa Vivian was a meeting with the Cuba we had hoped to meet and had been looking for. Great service, good rooms, great and big breakfast and Vivian and Pablo are great hosts and the location -... More

We were booked in here as part of our tour of Cuba and it was by far the best place we stayed. Everything very new and fresh and clean. We stayed in the house across the small street from the main house where breakfast was served and where it was possible to have dinner. We had dinner here the three... More

Stayed a night here as part of a tour with a private company. Superb location with beautiful views over Trinidad. We recommend dining in-house - the food was spectacular and very cheap! Hosts were amazing and we recommend this establishment without hesitation. (our rooms had full air conditioning!)

My husband and I have just recently returned from a very interesting visit to Cuba. Our stay at Hostal Vivian was indeed a good one although we cut it short by one day. We were booked into Vivian's original Casa for two nights however when we arrived we saw people being put into her new, luxury Casa over the road.... More
