Having just left there today I want to write this all down before the wonderful memories fade...arrived in Auckland very upset with delayed/possibly lost luggage. We had specifically chosen and paid for "a fast track experience" only to stay longer in the airport looking for my

Hello Nikki, Thank you very much for your email. We would be delighted to have your son and his fiancee come and stay with us at Te Whau Lodge. Should you decide to book direct please give us your contact details and their names also on the booking sheet. I can send you a voucher so that you can give it to them on Christmas Day. They will have a suite with absolutely stunning views across the Hauraki Gulf looking across to Auckland City. I look forward to receiving a booking for them. Kind Regards Marg.

Thank you for considering Te Whau Lodge for your stay while on Waiheke Island. If and when you land in Auckland you can get a taxi or bus into Auckland City ferry terminal and you can buy your return ferry tickets at the kiosk which is located by the queue where you wait to board the Fullers Ferry to Waiheke Island When you board the Fullers Ferry in Auckland you would need to txt us on +64 27 558 4474 and let us know the time the ferry departs as the lodge is a 20 minute drive, we will do our best to pick you up however it is not always possible and we will arrange for someone else to pick you up. We will let you know when you txt us. Our charge is $40 per pick up and there are taxi services available. There is also a bus service on the Island as well. We recommend hiring a vehicle so that you have the freedom to explore our lovely Island as there is a lot to see. I hope that this is of assistance to you. Kind Regards Marg.
