While I could go on an on about the physical beauty of the setting and the property itself, what truly sets The Boatshed apart is the warm and welcoming service. Jonathan (the owner/manager) and his staff make you feel like a dear friend or a member of their family from the moment you arrive on site. There was a genuineness... More

Gracious, casual elegance. Very attentive, but unobstrsive staff. The food was fantastic, tower room quirky and WONDERFUL. Loved this hotel. Arrived early so they served us great coffe and croissants overlooking the beautiful bay. Frette sheets, homemade cookies with n room coffee/tea bar, they light candles at turndown. Small but super cosy room.

Myself and partner stayed three nights to celebrate a significant birthday. We stayed in the Bridge which was aesthetically pleasing with lovely sea views. From our observations the entire facility has been put together with an eye to detail. Jonathan and his team demonstrate genuine pleasure in providing quality service. We were delighted with the high standard of our daily... More

This is a belated review from our stay at the Boatshed in November 2015. There's not much I can add to all the superlatives already mentioned by other reviewers, except to say that my husband and I have stayed in some lovely hotels in many beautiful parts of the world and the Boatshed completely tops them all. The price we... More

Jonathan and his staff have created a magical oasis on a magnificent island. From the moment you walk in the door you realise the Boatshed is very, very special. By the time you leave (which you won't want to) you appreciate the level of detail, care and planning that has gone into creating this wonderful place for your enjoyment. Unless... More

Having stayed at The Boatshed a number of years ago, we were hoping that it was still world class. We were not disappointed...the room, the food and particularly the staff were top class and we look forward to a return visit in the near future.

I can't say enough about this magical place. We stayed in April for the last 4 nights of our honeymoon. You feel like you are staying at someone's private luxury beach house. The staff and service... amazing. Rooms... breathtaking and having dinner there cooked by a personal chef with ingredients grown in their garden. Nothing beats this place!!

We have been lucky to stay at the Boatshed on two occasions, and we always meant to write a proper review for everyone's benefit. The first visit blew us away - the understated wonderfulness of everything, cool and interesting design, so many subtle details that just work, having your wishes anticipated, brilliantly simple food, outstanding local wine (Obsidian Chardonnay) and... We stayed in the Boatshed for our honeymoon and we had an absolutely amazing time. The owners were really friendly and helpful, pushing the boat out to ensure that we had a really special time. We were treated to delicious fresh snacks when we arrived and given excellent advice on how to spend our day (white sand beaches to ourselves... More
