Came here for wellness retreat. My first time to visit Waiheke Island and was amazed at the beautiful island. Punga lodge was amazing beautiful quiet place surrounded by bush. At night amazing sitting outside hearing the waves roaring down the galley at the beach. Loved the spa at the lodge and the big double room we had.

My friend & I stayed here Saturday night. Dyan gave us a lovely sunny room & a delicious afternoon tea to go with it! Rob provided us with a very nice continental breakfast in the morning which included home-made muffins. Our room was just perfect. We would definitely stay there again. My friend from Hokitika has a rather good impression... More

Great place to stay when visiting the island. My wife and I visiting for the first time. The Hospitality was brilliant, afternoon teas brought to the door was a nice touch and welcomed. The owners were friendly and catering for our needs. Clean , comfortable very accommodating, no issues. Situated amongst the bush with bird life displaying in proximity, the... More

My daughter and I were stranded on the island last night after a local sent us to the wrong ferry and we missed the last ferry. We were feeling really worried that we would have to sleep in our car as we were failing to find any accomodation. My daughter has a broken leg, so that's not going to be... More

Punga Lodge was our last stop in our month holiday in NZ. What a way to end the vacation. Dyan and Rob were the perfect hosts. Greeting us with tea and homemade muffins, sharing pictures of our "Schnoodles", and enjoying their hospitality - a truly delightful couple sharing their beautiful location and accommodations!

My partner and I had a great weekend away at The Punga Lodge. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect and not to mention home baked afternoon tea everyday with cottage serviced everyday also. The cottage we stayed in was very private and had a rustic feel with everything we needed including wifi. I highly recommend... More

We had such a great stay at Punga Lodge, it was the perfect base for our girly weekend away. Very friendly and accommodating host and the most amazing home baked afternoon tea served when and where we wanted. Spa tub, short stroll to beach, oneroa shops and restaurants, we couldn't have wanted more. Thanks Punga Lodge!

Punga Lodge is in a great location to walk to the beach and to Oneroa. Incredibly efficient booking and communication - we felt truly welcome before we arrived. We stayed in a self-contained unit which was spacious and had everything we needed. Because we were in a self-contained unit we didn’t partake of the lodge breakfast - but have done... More

We were looking for a place to spend a couple of nights while exploring Waiheke. As it was summer season, we had been having problems, but the Auckland I-site suggested PUNGA LODGE. A great find! It is on the main road from the ferry terminal, down a rather precipitous driveway, but well worth it. The rooms are comfortable and well... More

Recently stayed in the cottage at this property, whilst attending a wedding on the Island.4 nights was the minimum period of stay for the overpriced cottage and felt that the property was forcing guests into a booking of unnecessary length, considering the state of the place. On arrival, noticed many items of basic rental accommodation requirements that should be attended... More
