We stayed on two separate nights, before & after walking the Queen Charlotte Track. Small compact bathrooms with bedrooms. Acceptable because of the very good pricing. Warm and cosy room. Satisfactory continental breakfast. Good laundry facilities (afternoon only). Very accommodating allowing additional luggage to be stored while we were away elsewhere.

This Picton B & B ( a new name of Marineland Heritage House B & B) was really comfy place to stay at Picton. It is really close to rows of restaurants and shops, 7 min walk to railway station and I-Site, only 10 min from Interislander Ferry Terminal and also to Picton water front and several museums. My single... More

I recently spent a night at the Picton House B & B - the owner Rosemary very kindly upgraded me to a room with private facilities, which was greatly appreciated as I arrived hot and flustered after a trudge from the ferry terminal with a heavy bag! This place is located very close to the main shopping area of Picton,... More

With a new name change to 'Picton House Bed and Breakfast', this proved to be a wonderful place to bed down for the night on our way back to Wellington......It was wonderful to be able to mingle with other guests in the dining room instead of having Breakfast bought to your room in cereal boxes. Fruit juices, cereals, condiments, freshly... More

Well located in centre of Picton, lovely B and B. The twin room was spacious, almost divided into 2 rooms. Had sink in the room and separate toilet and shower very close to room, bathrobes provided. Very clean and comfortable, and walkable from ferry from North Island. Breakfast of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice and toast. Small pool at front. Very... More

A great place for a small group to stay. Rosemary was very accommodating to our needs and activities, even our 'fishandchip' dinner. As we were the only guests we were able to make the place our 'home' and have a very social time. Rooms were very clean and very adequate for our needs, A great location, within walking distance of... More

Good location, easy walking to town, owners very friendly and accommodating. Motor bike friendly (they locked our bikes in the shed), provided ice for our drinks!! Also put on an early breakfast as we had an early ferry. We would stay here again

We enjoyed our stay in this accomodation, the room was a good size with King size bed and ensuite. The only down side of the ensuite was that the basin was a bit small. Rosemary was an excellent hostess and catered for our needs, in particular a gluten free breakfast for myself. Rosemary prepared breakfast early for us on the... More
