Staying overnight before commencing the Queen Charlotte Track, I requested a single room to ensure I got a decent rest. What they didn't tell me was the single person's room was an old cupboard converted & was right beside the kitchen which as everyone knows is party central in a hostel. The acoustics are terrible. The showers & toilets were unbearable-urine...

We book a bed for two nights in a 28 bed dor room for 24$/night. You can't sleep before 11pm because It's really hot in the room because of all the window who takes the light during the day. There wasn't a lot of shower and they looked really bad. All the doors are open during the day so anybody...

Stayed for 3 nights in December. Was a bit apprehensive when I saw the outside of the building. It looked very rundown. We had a double room in one of the areas in the back & I was pleasantly surprised. Although the furnishings were not the newest, everything was clean & welcoming. The owner/manageress was fantastic - very enthusiastic, helpful,...

We had an awful experience staying here. The building is very run down and in need of some urgent refurbishment. I was shocked as it is listed as a BBH Hostel and so we expected more. Small rooms, many without windows, loud colours everywhere! Although our booking was messed up there was no apology and the owners seemed as tired...

Right from the correspondence leading up to our stay and the overwhelming welcome on arrival this place is super well located and couldn't be more helpful for making your stay easy. Picton is the nicest town in the region albeit not particularly exciting!

Atlantis is a great place to stay in Picton. The prices are cheap and the quality of accomodation is great! We were a little worried when we saw the outside of the building as it looks a little rundown, but do not let this put you off as once you step inside, it is absolutely great! The rooms are bright...

Lots of people in the living room and the kitchen, no space available to sit and relax. Close to the harbor and the city center. There is $20 key deposit Super friendly and hyperactive staff. The woman was super funny and overexcited about everything. I love her! We asked for a parking. To ensure we have enough space the woman...
