Wow! What a lovely little spot! Very comfortable beds, lots of space and the view was spectacular. Love the little touch of the diffuser in the bathroom. Even though we ended up having a problem with out booking the staff were so accommodating and friendly! Overall a very enjoyable stay. Would recommend and definitely come back! Wish we stayed longer.

We were there on July 2016 on our honeymoon, we spent one night and everything excepting the wifi was good. The service is perhaps not extremely nice but they are kind, and they recommended us about restaurants and other activities.

We stayed in the miners cottage amongst the bush. Warm, clean and cosy. Had a log fire, with matches, kindling and wood ready to light your fire. WiFi work well. Birds singing at night and in the morning. Had full kitchen so great for self catering. Would love to go back in the summer.

Absolutley loved this place. Personal welcome card and fudge when we arrived which was late and dark. There was a wee pile of paper, kindling, firelighters etc to light the logburner which was toasty warm. Very private cottage, never saw another person during our stay. Lovely, friendly staff. Bathrobes provided, very comfy bed and a double spa bath. Loved our... More

We have stayed at the cottages previously and it was lovely, warm and well lit on arrival with fire place all set. We booked to stay for 3 night on our honeymoon, checking in at about 7pm Saturday evening. The room was pitch dark, freezing cold, no fire wood and no running water! Not a single drip! I went to... Checked in late after going for the dolphin cruise. GPS wasn't able to find the location properly but Google Maps didn't fail us. Entrace is along the main road but is quite easy to miss. Room was small and cosy, the wooden fire place was a nice touch, although some instructions would have been appreciated. There was a small kitchen... More

The cottage we stayed in was well presented, clean, cosy and warm with a fire place, 2 person spa and queen bed. There is a courtesy car available to take you into the village, the staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. There are a number of cottages to choose from, we thought they would be a... More

Stayed for 2 nights in a cottage with a sea view. Cottage very comfortable & cozy. Akaroa is a delightful town to stay in. Plenty to occupy your time. Could have done with a few extra days. Highly recommended.

picked this place in the low season for a short stay. Great views and position. Very peaceful. Spa bath and real log burner just added to the cold evenings. Manager 'Rick' was a great help and even provided a courtesy drop off and pick up in town which was a great touch. Would recommend for couples.

We stayed two nights and had a lovely room with beautiful views of the bush and Akaroa. It was so peaceful and private with a log fire to keep warm and double spa bath to soak in after a day out. The cheese platter was so delicious and the staff very knowledgable of the area and welcoming when we arrived.... More
