What a valley: steep rock faces, colorful meadows. The Staubbach Falls, unique! And in the middle of it all, our campsite. This is where they live, the adventurers, those seeking peace and quiet, they relax, take a deep breath. They hike, bike, ski. They enjoy the beauty of nature. They take care of it. And they appreciate the infrastructure

Property's Favorite Review
Thank you Camping Jungfrau for a wonderful stay. Brilliant facilities and location in a stunning valley. I had a small tent pitch in a nice field ideally placed for reception, shop and facilities. The experience of staying on the site is wonderful because it is so well maintained and provides facilities such as a communal kitchen, cosy lounge and very good showers etc. Plus the fact that you’re in a jaw-dropping location! I was collected from the local train station by the campsite’s minibus shuttle service when my train arrived, and dropped off at the end of my holiday, which was so convenient. The information about the area from reception was excellent. They even charged my battery pack for me, as I didn’t opt for the electric hook-up. The on site shop had a good range of food and drink, and there is a decent Coop in the village. This is a very special place and I hope to return soon!

Family of 5, 2 adults, 14,3 & a baby
We arrived at Camping Jungfrau, to picturesque snow topped mountains and a beautiful waterfall which we could see from our pitch. Pitch size was good.
We were informed by reception our electric consumption was metered, this is the first campsite we have ever been to that did this, so we didn't know what to expect. We used our gas for cooking and only had the electric heating on in the evening as we were out all day anyway. Well 6 days of going very easy with the electric and we got a bill for 3CHF 🤭 so don't worry about using your appliances!
The toilets and shower rooms were immaculate and warm and the showers are very powerful and can go as hot as you can bare! There is also a baby bath for families with young ones.
The food in the restaurant is delicious! Definitely worth a visit! The bar is just as welcoming with twinkly lights, patio heaters and a comfy chilled out vibe.
There is a bus that arrives every 30 mins to take you to the train station just up the road and you can get to anywhere from there.
Getting around is expensive, but expected. We spent about £600 for 2 adults and a teen (under 6 are free) just on transport for 5 days. We definitely made the most of it though and travelled to every part of Jungfrau just for the scenery. The train, cable cars and most ski lifts were all included in the price of our passes we got from campsite reception. We bought hiking and sledging passes.
The staff at Camping Jungfrau work very hard at making this place wonderful and they have done a brilliant job. We don't usually visit the same place twice but the whole family agreed we would definitely love to return here in the future.

Last time we stayed we only really scratched the surface of what this site has to offer but this time we were here for five days and would have liked longer. The views are fantastic and there are great walks from here down the valley and also by using the cable car in Lautebrunnen, which costs just 9 SF, or a little more to catch the connecting train to Murren. I would recommend paying to use the cable car back down again though, it's a very long walk downhill.
I marked the site down a star last time for the shop being on the dear side but I now understand that's just normal for Switzerland, it's not a cheap country. I tired of venturing out to Lidl at Interlaken and compromised by using the decent Co-op in Lauterbrunnen instead, then used the camp shop for milk and croissants etc. Last time I also wished the site had a pool but it effectively has one because there's a nice outdoor pool within walking distance in Lauterbrunnen at reasonable prices (use your guest card). It has a great view of the mountains whilst you are swimming.
Maybe we will come again with a pass for the mountain railways and cable cars, I'm sure there's plenty more to see. Recommended if you like proper camping. I stayed with Eurocamp in a tent, and the staff were really helpful.

Excellent campsite - some of the best views and facilities we have seen, and friendly, helpful staff. Pitches booked through the UK Caravan and Camping Club website usefully had a hard standing for an awning. Some of the tent pitches looked a little cosy but no one seemed to mind. Showers and toilets were modern and very clean, well stocked shop and restaurant on site, with visiting Asian food van on two days/ week. The location is just on the edge of Lauterbrunnen is ideal, an easy walk to the train and cable cars, or cycle path to Grindelwald or Interlaken. Highly recommended.

We stayed here in August in a bungalow tent booked via Eurocamp. The site is set in a valley and the views were absolutely breathtaking. Every morning we sat on our decking with a coffee just taking in the beauty around us.
The site is in a great location - there are lots of walks, it's a 20 minute walk to the cable car that takes you up into the mountains, 15 minute walk to the village.
The facilities were good. Obviously, being in a tent we only had a hob but we managed. The shared bathrooms were all very clean (although some are nicer and more modern than others).
There was plenty to do on site and around the site. Tennis, mini golf, hikes, a swimming pool a few minutes down the road. The kids met other kids and they all played together.
I would recommend this place to anyone!

Very nice campsite, everything neat and clean! Reception very friendly and always ready for you! Location is very nice, near the Staubachfalle. Lauterbrunnen center is a short walk away but you are also right there! Price is also favorable for what you get, there is a shop, restaurant, toilet with showers, washing machines and a dishwashing location. We have experienced our time at the campsite as very pleasant! Definitely recommended. Please note that between 12:00 and 14:30 the reception is closed for break and you cannot enter the park by car between 21:30 and 07:00, so plan this with your trip! Topcamping!

An impeccable campsite in every way!
We arrived without really wanting to spend the night in this campsite; It’s true the prices are slightly off-putting. Despite everything, we let ourselves be tempted by the pleasant welcome and, I admit, by the beautiful view. We were not disappointed.
In fact, from reception to departure, everything is taken care of properly. We are welcomed with kindness. The pitches, although slightly small depending on the location, are quite suitable!
The sanitary facilities even though, all gathered in a single block, are impeccable: toilets, shower, small private area with sink, washing machine or manual washbasin, dryer, sinks, dishwasher, and even shower for our doggy friends. Everything was pleasant to use.
The small shop provided was very useful to us, and at reception the staff is there to answer your questions and help you visit the surroundings (which are also magnificent).
But then why didn’t I give it 5/5 you might ask. Well quite simply because it is very busy, and unfortunately simply looks like a tourist campsite. Of course this is not surprising since Lauterbrunnen is often full of travelers. But that’s what also frustrated us: the world. Which disturbs the tranquility of the place a little.
In conclusion, don't hesitate to go there if you want impeccable service, but don't expect peace and quiet.
And I advise you not to stay there too long if you don't want to empty your accounts!
Thanks to the campsite!

We stayed for a week and this was our favourite place of the holiday. Gorgeous views, quiet and peaceful with the sound of the river by the side of us.
We stayed in a 4 bed mobile home staubbach, it had everything we needed, compact but serviceable and clean, with a nice decking area we made good use of.
Reception was very busy and involved a long wait which was probably not helped by staff wanting to be too helpful with information when you checked in! There’s a basic shop but you do need to be aware of it shutting at 6:30 if you arrive late. There’s plenty of laundry stations and it’s a short walk to the station and supermarket. We didn’t use any of the other facilities due to covid but we did get a takeaway pizza and chips from the onsite restaurant the one night which were good quality. There’s a mini golf just down the road.
It’s a great place to use as a base for a holiday, we went to Mürren (a lovely walk then a bus ride back), Grindelwald, Interlaken, St Beatus’ Cave, Ballenberg Open Air Museum as well as some of the waterfalls. It’s very easy to get around in the trains and buses.
It really is a beautiful place and we’d definitely come back again and again.

Super friendly staff, allowed us to leave our bags after checkout for a few hours and felt like they would do anything to make our stay more pleasent. Fantastic views and fair bathrooms. Kitchen stove needed coins to operate and didnt have an oven but kettle and microwave were free. otherwise a lovely space and super friendly people. Guy at the front desk gave great advise for our stay

The site is really well placed, right in the middle of everything with great transportation links. the site is amazingly clean with helpful staff and, with the exception of one slightly older block, brilliant amenities. i think that when it's full, it may get a bit crowded on one in some of the pitch areas but there are some really great, slightly more private and quieter pitches available if that is what you want. on site restaurant and shop are good for a campsite and the reception were happy to help with any questions. a really good site. Oh yes, and free wifi (which mostly worked).

Dear Ann L, thank you very much for your question. It is hard to give all the information here via message. There are so many different trains and cable cars in the area. At the checkin we are explaining all the details, we will hand out maps and we are also able to sell the tickets. There are also different passes available for the whole area during winter but also during summer time. It depends very much on your plans as the most expensive excursion to the Jungfrau Joch costs you approx. CHF 200.00 per person. There is also the Schilthorn as one of the two top excursions, where you will have reduction with the guest card we are handing out to you at checkin. There you pay a discounted tarriff of approx. CF 76.00. Of course there are also cheaper options starting at a price of CHF 10.00. As there are plenty of options, it is quiet difficult to answer this here and not in person on spot. We would love to welcome you at Camping Jungfrau and wish you a great day, warm regards, your Camping Jungfrau Team
Dear Inspire603704, thank you very much for your interest to visit us in summer 23. We did not publish availabilities yet. You will be able to make a booking as of the month of October, we are happy to welcome you next year! Warm regards, your Camping Jungfrau Team
Dear emilys, thank you very much for your note and question. You just pass by at the reception, we would have adapters with usb ports, which you are able to use for example in the lounge in order to charge your power bank. Other than that, you could leave the power bank at the reception and get it back at a later stage. I hope this helps, warm regards, your Camping Jungfrau Team
