Amazing hospitable Dutch owners have made it their mission to have an great stay. Extremely clean rooms, I've never seen a bathroom more clean than this. Nicely decorated, self renovated, old school buidling. Spacious, high ceiling rooms, with comfy beds and lake view. They have cracked the covid-breakfast dillema by offering 4 types of breakfast, being served at your table: Swedish, French, English or Healthy. Nice restaurant/bar and sundeck outside. In the evening there's a great service offering a choice for everybody, even vegan. I've read some remarks about the road, which I'd like to comment on. Yes there is a road quit close by, and you will hear cars passing. Currently a bit more traffic due to road works at the main road 61, which drivers try to avoid by taking this one. But at night it was quit and we were not to bothered about it. Hopefully this will be sorted soon. Worth knowing there's no direct access to the lake, but there is one just 5 minutes drive away. However they will also direct you to a great bathing spot 10-15 minutes away in a suberb litte lake with a beach. The owners offer great outdoor activities. We've really enjoyed our stay, great value for money and warmly recommend this place. We're looking forward to return to this gem!

My father and I spent two nights in Arvika at Guesthouse Eleven June 9-10, 2010. The innkeeper and his wife were very friendly and accomodating. They helped us to line up a rental car to see the area. Rooms are huge, very clean - in fact, the entire place is incredibly clean. Food is excellent as well! I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Arvika. The only potential downside is that the location is about 7km from the train station, and a taxi one-way will run about 160 KR ($20). Car rental was only about $40/day for a VW Polo, although gas is expensive at over $6 per gallon (13KR/Liter).

I really don’t know where to start: the hospitality of the owners, the wonderful cuisine, the spacious rooms, the variation in the breakfast buffet, the cosy terrace, the games and sport possibilities for the children, the books that are there free to read, the wonderful region in Sweden, the moose tour, the kano possibibilities😉, .... did I mention the food???
We were there for 3 days and it was too short, we didn’t even have time to Explore the wellness!

Loved this place! Booked it the night before not knowing anything about it. What a wonderful surprise! Travelling with 2 kids, it was just perfect for us. So quaint, an old renovated school house. Our room was on the very top floor and so spacious and tastefully decorated. Super duper clean and charming. Big bathroom, nice hot shower. 2 big queen size beds which is nice as many places in Europe have a pull out as the second bed. Loved seeing photos on the walls of the hotel being renovated. A family run place, you cant help but be impressed by what they have done. The owners are very friendly. We sat in the restaurant at night and had a beer and then sat with it out on the little patio. Nice touch that they had blankets to take outside if it was a bit cool (which it was). Breakfast was good and enough variety for everyone. We rented paddleboats in the afternoon and the owner and his son came with us and bailed the water out of the boats for us and dried them off. That was so nice of them. They could have just given us the key and told us where to find them but they didn't. It is these little things that make an impression. They had a pet bunny on the grounds which the boys enjoyed and the hotel itself is on a quiet road, lots of trees, no noise. We loved our stay here, I wish we had known how nice it was and we could have stayed longer. We even spotted a moose!

excellent for this kind of accommodation. nothing fancy with lots of extra services etc. very nice small hotel, old school that they renovated recently and you can still see the trace of it and on all photos hanging around. very clean and good size room, huge bathroom, all totally new! however, not very swedish style but quite clean lines and modern. good breakfast! very helpful owner, full of advices for tracking and info about the surroundings. if you are into nature and tracking than this is a great place to stay.

Two nights with adult and teen age child. A very well run and friendly place. In all details it is very clear that the proprietors take great pride in doing their job well and to to provide as good services as friendly and generously as possible. Good food, pleasant atmosphere, lots of help and good advice for activities. Wholeheartedly recommended!

Calling it an B&B could be somewhat misinterpreting.... It is more like an hotel without a tv in the room but who needs a tv (if you still want stay indoors you have wifi)? Rooms including private bathroom are clean and tastefully decorated, in fact the feeling is that the rooms were renovated yesterday. The continental breakfast was good in a nice dining hall and the Dutch owners friendly. The only slightly negative was that a soap was missing on the sink in the bathroom.

So if you are travelling through I can recommend this place but bring your own soap.

We were pleased and amazed at the size of the rooms and bathrooms. Coffee the best we've had in Sweden, food good and reasonably priced. Very helpful hosts, in all extremely relaxed and comfy.

We stayed for three nights in this family owned B&B and we enjoyed it very much.
Great room and spacious bathroom with good shower. Breakfast buffet is good with lots to choose from. You can have your breakfast or dinner inside or outside, the place is very nice decorated. Dinner is good food and delicously prepared. Would absolutely recommend this place if you want to visit this area.
