Hotel is no way 4* in overall is clean and decorated with lots of interesting pictures. The staff is not profesional. The best thing in the hotel is wifi in the rooms. I have to complain the breakfast it was very bad and you have nothing to choose.

I've been here already few times and the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable.
It is near 3 other restaurants and a bar.
Staff are polite and helpful.
Ideal for business trips and for solo or couple travellers.
Many nice pictures with big frames are characteristic in corridors and rooms

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. It’s terribly old and probably hasn’t been renovated since the 50’s. That’s with the exception of the televisions and maybe the carpet and paint. There are very old rugs in the hallways and some of the rooms, but what stands out the most are the extremely huge frames that hang along the walls in hallways and the rooms.

I mean this hotel literally tried to fill up every spot on every wall with these frames. And it just looks horrible. The furniture is also old and needs to be updated. The mattress for my bed was very hard, old, and uncomfortable. I didn’t get the best sleep at all. The bathroom looks ok, but reeked of mildew once the exhaust fan was turned on. The breakfast was horrible. This hotel is cheap, but I’m sure there’s someplace close with better accommodations that can’t be too much more. I just don’t understand why they won’t renovate.

I stayed at the very clean Hotel Razgorsek last month with my 6 months old baby daughter and wife. The staffs were extremely warm and inviting. The room was luxurious with all modern amenities and comforts. The furnishings are new and tasteful. A helpful staff enquired if we needed a baby cot at night. It was very thoughtful of them, though we liked to keep our baby on our bed. I am a business man and I often have clients contacting me through mails. The availability of free internet in the rooms and in the entire hotel premises was highly useful for this purpose.

Stayed here for one night on the way to Ljubljana.

Filthy Carpets, indifferent staff, noisy bar (til 2am), Evening meal was acceptable and breakfast basic, but OK.
Room were a little strange and about the size of an understair's cupboard.
Parking outside, but not secure.

My ranking would be a good 2 star but not the 4 they claim to have.

We stayed in this hotel for a week and then returned after a 3 day field trip of Slovenia.
We had a suite of 3 rooms
Bedroom, bathroom and living room.
It’s an older hotel with no elevators but full of comfort and charm
The bathroom while not modern was very comfortable. The shower was big and the room was large enough to not feel closed in
There is a minibar in the living room . The living room has an old world charm
The bedroom felt the same
Breakfast was included and very good
The hotel is located just below the castle and is within walking distance to stores and restaurants
The best feature of this hotel is the staff!
They made us feel welcome and helped us with luggage, directions, taxis etc....
Their English was excellent
I would definitely return to this hotel!

Interesting place with all the big pictures in the rooms. Looks kind of oldish but i guess its more style
Bathroom was nice and big in my room. All functioned well, so i cannot complain about this
Internet in room was good though, making business travel easy
Walking distance from Gorenje

Kitchen staff starts talking very loud at 5.50 in the morning, underneath my room's window, then at 6.10 starts bashing in the kitchen preparing breakfast. NOT impressed

Breakfast is NOT GOOD.
U need to ask them to refill fruit salad etc, scrambled eggs was dry. Also not impressed here.

Can be so much better with just a bit more service that are customer focussed

Stayed for 2 nights on business trip while working in Polzela (which has no hotels). Town was surprisingly good size and the hotel staff was friendly. Hallways were covered with beautiful artwork and my daughter (via Skype) thought it looked like a "castle". Only issue I had was that the town has a coal/lignite mine that gives a very bad smell that covered the hotel, rooms, our car, clothes, etc. Our business contacts said it's normal for that smell to be present across Velenje. Hotel was nice enough (and had 24 Mbps Download free WiFi if you can believe it!) but I'd pick a different town due to the smell.
