We had two rooms. Both very traditionally decorated and furnished but with all the modern amenities one requires including a decent coffee maker. Added bonus of a complimentary carafe of local wine
Breakfast was plentiful. And was served to your table as a “mini buffet” consisting of fresh fruit salad, bread, meat and cheese, yogurt, a warm selection (chafing daily) consisting of a local “pie”, eggs and sausages. Fresh juice, tea / coffee etc. A sweet breakfast desert was served later, a welcome surprise
The hosts were friendly, and more than willing g to offer advice on local sites, restaurants etc
Would happily return.
Rooms were decorated well and the bed was very comfortable.
Michael and his team looked after us well. We stayed during a massive storm and everywhere lost power. We were treated to a candle light breakfast and the offering was still amazing.
We had a problem with hot water in our room but we were given the key to the room right next to ours to use. This didn’t have any effect on our stay and resolved the issue.
Help with bags given, the walk to the city gate is not an easy one with luggage. Take my advice and bring as little as you can.
Excellent breakfast with handmade specialties, pies, cakes, etc.
Very good service with the staff being very friendly and helpful.
Kellia is away from the hustle bustle of this small town that is gradually being taken over by part time residents restoring old homes. Definately worth the trip.

Firts of all it is dirty. REALLY DIRTY !!! Some things have never been cleared up !
The rooms are small and ugly, with no aestetic at all. And it is pitty that it is a really nice place.
The breakfast is horrible, with old toast-bread and syroup-like-honey (!!!) and they charge it in top for 10 Euros...
It is really expensive for what they offer and someone can easily find much better and cheaper rooms to stay no more than 30 meters away (like Malvasia and Byzantine).
Avoid this place if you can.
"I think any of the rooms would be excellent. Although mine was on the ground floor, it felt extremely safe and peaceful."Read full review
