The hotel is a located 800m from the Castle. It is walking distance to the castle and also is easy to use the local bus as the bus station is close to the hotel (1.10€ per ride). We had the room No 7. It was on the ground floor. The view from the room was nice (sea view). The bed...

The hotel did not live up to our expectations. Aside from its ideal location, which is just a short walk from the castle and extraordinary helpful and service-oriented staff - the rest was rather mediocre to say the least. Upon arrival we were given the keys of a "family room", which was cute but not renovated and more importantly -...

We made a booking on the day of arrival in the town, and we're very pleased... because we struck gold. Nicely decorated/updated and spacious 2bd apartment with balcony and spectacular views. Nice pool area too. Breakfast was always yummy. I'd happily go back to Monemvasia, and I'd stay at Lazareto Hotel. The owner/staff care, and it shows.

If you are at Monemvasia, then you definitely must check in here!! It is the most unique "Hotel" I have ever checked in! ..and I ve been to quite a lot.. The location is great, as is right outside of the Monemvasia castle & town, that you will definitely visit since you are there. The greatest advantage of its location,...

We arrived at the Lazareto after a long day of driving. It's setting is beautiful with a view of the promontory from the west end and it seems to be the only hotel there. The others are in the town at the east end in the beautiful very touristy town. There are gardens a pool with a beautiful view. We...

A lovely family-run hotel, just outside the castle of Monemvasia which gives guests easy access to both, the modern and the fortified part of the place. Lovely, spacious rooms, free parking, the hotel guarantees a fantastic stay in a hospitable ambiance with great views of the port and castle!

A wonderful hotel, beautifully appointed. The facilities were top-notch (air conditioning, pool, café), all set in the picturesque run-up to Monemvasia, appointed with old pine trees offering shade and a terraced vineyard up to a viewing platform. Extremely friendly and helpful service - my mum suffered a head injury while swimming in town and I could not have hoped for...

Great hotel with comfortable and large guestrooms. Unique location that is only a few minute walk from the town and a short bus ride to the Castro. Breakfast selection and quality was good, and some of the staff was attentive. Don't leave any personal items lying around or you may never see them again.

The hotel is in a great location, just a 15 minute walk along to the old town or there is a local bus that goes every hour. The hotel has a many different room categories but all are traditional and comfortable & most of them have good views. There is a nice swimming pool at the top of the gardens...

Stayed there with a friend in May 2-16. The hotel is very well situated at a walking distance to Monemvasias old town. It's a restored old building complex, so most of the offered rooms are unique and are designed with great style. The grounds around are great with vineyards, rest areas and a small swimming pool. It offers also in...
