The area is unique. A closed gulf like a lake with traditional fish taverns and fish boats. Magnificent view and quietness with good vibes. Our residence is an autonomous house, well equipped, clean with a great balcony overlooking the gulf. Close by, there was a swimming pool and a nice cafe bar run by the same people. There, we used to have breakfast, coffee, beverages, etc. Stavroula and Dimitris who run the residences and the bar, are very friendly. They are very willing to provide any information and enjoy being helpful with any request.
Well appointed, modern but simple accommodation in a beautiful location at the head of s short, fjord-like creek. Spotlessly clean with very helpful staff and an excellent Greek breakfast, served until 11.00. The interestingly decorated bar in the old building is open until late, with comfortable seating outside by the pool. No parking problems. The only negative comment would be that it would not suit people with mobility problems as there are many steps and uneven surfaces. An excellent taverna in the village, 10 minutes walk away along the waterside. Access from Monemvasia is 12 km along a somewhat tortuous but well surfaced road and the location is very quiet.
This is Villa Apartment Hotel with full kitchen inside. You can make your meal while staying here. They got everyting you need for this. We come at spring then we didint use the swimming pool in front of the hotel. Breakfast was also excellent. They have fireplace inside the room also. I recommend you to walk to Gerakas ports for some restorant and try zykos restaurant
This place is a true discovery, a collection of well-appointed bungalows located just at the end of a fjord/lagoon with spectacular views!!! The accommodation is superb. Breakfast is served until 11am (!!!) or even later if you had a late night. The swimming pool is a huge bonus as is the parking. The Porto Cadena team members are wonderful. The place also offers live Greek music entertainment on Friday nights. Plenty of taverna options within walking distance and a 20' drive to Monemvasia for sightseeing.
It is a nice residence, if you look for quietness that’s your place but it is very isolated, 12 km away from Monemvasia. At first glance it’s perfect, then several details are neglected in the room And at the pool. It overlooks the lake but you cannot swim in it. It was a nice stay but I expected a bit more for the price. Nice breakfast.
