Visited on a business related trip. The layout, decor and hospitality really gives a peaceful, rejuvinating vibe. Worth the stay. The only problem I have is the rock fountain at the entrance. The pipes are sticking out and they kind of ruin it. I want to saw them off :)
Excellent overall, very friendly personnel, excellent food for breakfast and dinner. Nice swimming pool. Nice rooms. Good location, to see Skagen and the vicinities. I would definitely recommend this hotel who wants to visit Skagen.
The hotel sits just outside the town, we were located in an additional apartment row that's actually nearby the hotel. Not an exciting room, but reasonably equipped and furnished. We were disappointed that we had to make the additional bed ourselves. Breakfast was OK, not a great deal of homemade or fresh options. There is a pool but we did not use it. Overall an OK stay, would not recommend this hotel specifically.
My mother and I have been taking an annual trip to Color Hotel Skagen for years, and we were thrilled to finally be back after the pandemic. The stay was just as pleasant this time as before. We got an early check-in without an issue, the room was spacious and clean, and WiFi worked perfectly. Only “complaint”; the hotel seemed far from full, but we still got a room facing the entrance and parking lot. There’s always going to be people coming and going at odd times, so this room should be the last one they use. Apart from this, everything was perfect. Good and plentiful breakfast, lots of walking trails nearby, free parking on premises etc. We’ll be back soon!
It was simply one of the best experience of travelling. Stay here for three days and it was work every single second I spent over her...staff are awesome especially JONAS and Piya .. u should try out there fine dinning menu and the cafe they are simply beautiful and worth dying for thanks to these memories..MANGE TAK..
The families wanted to take a break with a weekend stay and decided to use this place. Long story short this hotel charge too much for what you get! DKK 5700 for two nights in a dated family room not cleaned to expected standards. Pool was a great feature when having kids. Outdoor jacuzzi was an even greater feature - although an 8 spots version for a facility this size is just on the low side. Corona lockdown was not used for updating paint and more in the outdoor areas - which would have been a good investment! Breakfast and restaurant in general are contributing to the pros side of our experience. Staff is friendly and service minded.
We have been to this hotel for many years but is suprise of this start. The check in was terrible... We were told that we could check in before and asked 5 minutes before to check in. A short answer from another receptionist was 14.00.....5 minutes.. Then we waited 5 minutes and had to wait 30 minutes before we could check in. Then we suprisingly had no fridge in the apartment... We had to pay for that.... A bad start.... For our ninth stay at this hotel... Maybe the rest Will be good.
I stayed at this hotel just for One day, but it is a nice place with kind and helpful people. The breakfast is very good. There are lot of options, non veg, vegetarian, vegan. The rooms are quite big. Hope I can come and enjoy this place for more than one day.
Room was nice though had a slightly odd smell to it, ate all 3 meals there and all were excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a bit of a walk into Skagen but perfectly manageable. Would stay again
We have visited this Hotel several times, location is somewhat outside center of Skagen which is something of a minus. Upside is of course that it is quiet. Rooms are nice, free parking, easy to find close to the main road. BUT we now have find the place on Earth with the most expensive drinks: A Rum and Coke in the Hotel Bar is $20! Holy Cow. If you go for a night cap, buy a Bottle in a nearby store and make the drink in your Room.
