Simple room in a simple hotel. Having said that, the bed was comfortable and the shower was good. It was very quiet at night. The breakfast was adequate (a platter served with white bread, jam, ham, cheese, coffee). The hotel is located up high and you get very nice views on the suroundings (forest, town) from the hotel.
Staff not helpfull, not competent. Old fashioned place need huge update and refurbishment. Dust beneath beds. But worst experience ever was the breakfast, it was shocking. Smelly place. I don't understand how this hotel can still survive.
Set high on a hill, with glorious views of the stars at night and the city lights and rising morning sun! Our room was the most spacious of our sixteen days of travel, and with a lovely balcony....perfect!
The terrace next to the hotel provides very beautiful panoramatic view of Bardejov - enjoying this for about an hour both evenings before going to bed, with my own drink, was one of the highlights of my trip. Standard twin room was very nice, beds were standard, a little table had sitting for 4 people, the TV was large enough and modern. I liked that fridge and kettle+teas and free mineral waters were also provided. For the money we paid, we had all the comfort we needed with my mom. Breakfast had all the items we expected, just to mention only 1 kind of cheese, ham, sasusage etc. There was no elevator, which we did not mind at all, just to mention. It was worthwhile to walk up to the rooftop "glass tower" viewing point, for which the receptionist was happy to provide the key. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. With my mom, we were both satisfied with the value we got for our money (50 €/room/night incl. breakfast via Booking.com).…
We stayed here for 2 nights, its in a good location, high up so the views are good. The reception staff are helpful, our room was large and comfortable. The hotel itself was not at all busy, they seem to run special events which brings more people in. It also has tennis courts and volleyball courts for those who like to play sport.
Location about 10 minutes out of town on a hilltop; beautiful 360 degrees view from the accessible rooftop; good WIFI; friendly staff; comfortable room; lovely gardens, tennis courts (we did not use) and spa facilities (we did not use); reasonable price; good restaurant with decent wines, a bit on the expensive side. On the negative side, no A/C in the room, no elevator and breakfast buffet ran out of many items half an hour before the official ending time.
We have stayed here many times. Although there is no elevator for carting luggage, the rooms are nice and comfortable. The views are spectacular and the grounds are very nice for taking a stroll. Breakfast was very good.
We went to this lovely hotel in this beautiful country for a wedding. Everything was done to perfection. The outdoor wedding overlooking the countryside and the city was exceptional. The staff are perfectionists in handling weddings and it shows. Everything went perfectly and was perfect. All the food we had here including the wedding fare and breakfast and lunch was delicious. It was a perfect weekend for the bride and groom and for all of us as well.
My wife and I just got maried at the Hotel Bellevue. What can I say other than thank you to the lovely staff, you and this location made this the best wedding we could have hoped for and many are calling it the best wedding ever. If you are getting married in Bardejov look no further than the Hotel Bellevue.
We recently stayed here for a family wedding. Sitting at the top of a hill there are wonderful views over Bardejov. The staff were extremely helpful especially the bartender who had recently started working there. Everyone had an enjoyable time at the wedding with beautiful surroundings and lovely food.
