Have stayed in this hotel many times during business trips to East Slovakia. Enjoying ambient atmosphere after a rushy work day and starting day by a breakfast overviewing bit foggy valley below have attracted me to visit this hotel regularly. The staff there was always helpful and occasional talks with the hotel director let you feel you are in good hands. The facility is not up to the latest technical conditions and some areas close to swimming pool require substantial reconstruction but you are willing to sorry these thanks to all other things that make the hotel that nice. Fortunately had often a good luck to have almost the whole hotel for myself as only few people were staying at the same time. However, can imagine also many more people attending for special occasions like weddings, company parties, etc. Very rich gallery of events that happened in this hotel in the past witness very good organizational spirit and dedication to clients' satisfaction. Thank you. Wishing that will come back soon.

Nice and clean hotel, with very nice view of Bardejov- if you get a room on that side of the hotel, the other side overlooks parking lot. It is not within a walking distance from centre of the town, but you can take a bus or taxi, or car. On the other hand surrounding area is nice, trees around, very quiet place, perfect relax.
Staff at the reception is friendly, speaks english. Restaurant, as mentioned by other reviewers, is not the best one, but OK. Breakfast is good, variety of food, coffee average, tastes like instant, not presso. I would recommend lunch or dinner elsewhere, for example in Cactus restaurant in BJ which is superb.
Pool or spa part of the hotel were not opened, but there is a discount for Bardejovske Kupele spa resort - Ozon - with a nice pool and 5 different saunas. Definitely worth to try if you are fan of such activities.
Overall a very good experience and I would recommend Bellevue. Good value for the money.
Location rating depends on the type of the hotel you are looking for, this one is outside of town and I liked it that way. Pool rating - the pool rated is in Ozon Bardejovske Kupele, not Bellevue.

My family are planning a trip to Bardejov to visit the region as my father was born near this town. In planning our trip we read about accomodations in the area and read some very impressive things about Hotel Bellvue and decided to contact them to see if we could reserve a room for our stay in Bardejov. We called the hotel and spoke with the reservation desk and asked if there were rooms available for the time we wanted to stay. The reservationist said that there were rooms available and she would reserve the rooms for us for those days. She also said to follow up the telephone call with an e-mail stating our reservation request which we did. With in a few hours we recieved a response to our e-mail confirming our reservation request. After this we made plans for the rest of our stay in Bardejov sightseeing and ect. Yesterday we received an email from the hotel stating that they could not honor the reservation now because they are receiving a tour group and need our rooms to accomodate it. I find this to be very poor business practice and our reservations should be honored

We have stayed here many times. Although there is no elevator for carting luggage, the rooms are nice and comfortable. The views are spectacular and the grounds are very nice for taking a stroll. Breakfast was very good.

We recently stayed here for a family wedding. Sitting at the top of a hill there are wonderful views over Bardejov. The staff were extremely helpful especially the bartender who had recently started working there.
Everyone had an enjoyable time at the wedding with beautiful surroundings and lovely food.

My family and I stayed in Bellevue Hotel for 5 days! We had a lovely time thanks to the amazing staff. I stayed at this hotel in September so it was a little bit chillier but the crisp air was lovely for a walk in the morning. The breakfast is included and is delicious! The dinining room is beautiful and very cozy. Everyone is so nice and easy to approach! People are always there if you need anything! When you get tired from all the walking and yummy food you can go upstairs to your very clean and comfortable room with the comfiest (and newest so they are clean) beds you have ever slept on that you will not want to leave ( I had to drag my kids out of bed just to go downstairs to eat the delicious breakfast). The room also has a safe, mini fridge, lovely marble bathroom, coffee table, and a flat screen TV. If you have kids dont forget to go outside and let them play on the cute little playground and the tennis courts up front. Also, if you forget to bring a book or want a new one they have a cute "take one leave one" policy book shelf! Another activity you can do is go to the spa that is not that far away and is amazing (you get a discount:)). Make sure to go downstairs to the game room. In addition to all of those fun activities you can always go down to the bar, order a coffee or tea (or anything you like they have an amazing selection of beverages) and just watch the trees move and time fly by. Thank you Bellevue Hotel for an amazing stay! Hope to see you again :)!

I ordered 1 superior room and I have been surprised with small space of room. Working desk is very close to bed. Next problem is placement of electrical sockets - nothing is free. First I must to switch off a lamp for free socket for PC/mobile phone. TV is only with Slovak channels, minibar with nice prices and free bottle of still water. Bathroom is equipped by bathtube. Furniture and equipment is old but maintained good. Breakfast is "a la carte".
Very good solution is inside hotel-garden parking, gate was closed during the night. From my room was very nice view of all the town.

Friendly staff, good food, clean rooms with a nice view. We stayed here with friends and had a lovely evening and a good night sleep.

Even though we changed our meal plan in the evening, staff was kind enough to rearrange the setting whithout hesitation and was very friendly.

Very nice hotel with a lovely view over Bardejov but eat somewhere else. The staff in the reception is very friendly and helpful. The room was nice although I was looking out on a parking lot. My friend's room was HUGE with a fantastic view and he only paid 7 EUROS more than me! Free water bottle in the room. Balcony on the room so I borrowed an ash tray and could smoke there! Should have given the hotel a 5 BUT the restaurant was a disaster, the food was not good at all, the staff was uninterested to serve and noone knew any English. Every time we wanted something we had to go looking for them. BUt it was cheap..
