We were there for New Year's eve with my wife and 2 daughters. The Staff and Hotel Management really were amazing. Seriously, they went above and beyond to give us the best customer experience. Hotel location, spa, rooms and other facilities are just top of the line. I would just have some reservations about the food - but to be fair they are investing a lot and im sure the breakfast menu particularly will be top notch by the time we get back ☺️
We spent very nice time in the hotel, all stuff is very nice and open to feedback. That time they did renovation of part of the hotel so both sides (south and north) were a bit nosy and with view on the workers.
good spot, amazing views, functional interior, above average food, helpful staff… overall a good experience. still working on the area to make it even better. great spot to start your hiking trips. prices are comparable with the area… christian owners
Hotel is very good value for money. Most of the hotel is renovated and really nice. We chose this hotel because it had nice swimming pool and all the spa is really good. Hotel is family oriented which was great for us and for our daughter. We had half-board and we really liked dinners, buffet style with many options. You can park in garage and I could charge my EV there, which was wonderful. Staff is super nice.
We were there with our 2.5 years old boy. Long weekend super relaxing: walks in the snow, hours in the pool, excellent massage, amazing view. So yes, we liked it :) Surprise also the quality of the restaurant. You would expect some cheap easy food in mountain restaurant with little competition. But the food was of quality and taste. Recommended.
Super location with spectacular mountain views. Bit remote but pretty worthy to climb up. Very well renovated hotel. Stylish room was well equipped but room service was very poor at all whole stay - must have waited for new towels for a couple of days (it seemed like there were some troubles with staff management). Pretty cool restaurant with above the average pricing but nothing special on the menu at all (frankly, we preferred to go to more authentic nearby restaurant in sister-like hotel Josefova Bouda). Fortunately, staff was ready to help the parents with small kids (eg providing hot water to reheat the meals etc). Rather the average breakfast like there was no other bread than the cheapest one. Excellent semi-private wellness opened entire day with sauna, Turkish steam and indoor pool that suits perfectly even the toddlers. In general, the place is pretty cool but some of the services were a bit disappointing due to a lack of attitude that wouldn’t have been expected at the place priced like this. And after all, what should be the credit cards non acceptance policy all about? Place like this should accept them fully with no restrictions!…
The staff service here was synonymous as that of top notch luxury hotels. Some rooms were a little outdated in regards to interior design, but that is the only minus point of this wonderful mountain hotel:) We arrived late Friday evening and had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant. Saturday morning we when horse riding, then tea back at the hotel. Then to the centre of Spindleruv mlyn for a light lunch and shopping. With our new winter gear we tested it straight away at the Snowtubing park which was sooo much fun! We highly recommend and then returned to the hotel for some evening wellness, which was followed by a lovely dinner at Kogo restaurant. Sunday, we enjoyed a massage in the morning and then hit the ski slopes before heading back home. We managed to do a lot of activities in the short amount of time but we cam back home very relaxed. The hotel will definitely stay memorable thanks to the very kind and attentive service we got, so we can highly recommend it as it is for sure one of the amazing places in the Czech mountains :)…
We have spent three days at Josefova bouda in the top floor room 12 and were realy pleased with it. Its cozy, spacious and the views are awesome. Only downturn are beds which are separated and you tend to fall in the gap between. Otherwise perfect experience at perfect place.
Generally, the hotel was clean, staff was very kind and helpful. Nice area outside and not too expensive stay, dishes were tasty and the beer was also very tasty, but...breakfasts were dull and modest, as for the fruits, only apples were available. It changed a little bit when more guests arrived during a weekend but it caused a problem with a parking space on the other hand, cars had to be parked in front of the hotel in the street or one after another. Internet was working so-so, sometimes in the middle of the room there was a good reception, next to the window, on the table, the connection was breaking down. The door lock in our room was damaged, we could only close the door with turning the key, not by a door handle.
We have enjoyed a beautiful weekend right under the peaks of the Czech mountains. Accommodation is very nice, decent, clean. Staff is very pleasant, polite and professional. Great kitchen in the restaurant. You will not make a mistake by getting the half pension food. From regular menu you will be served with great Czech cuisine. We can only recommend. One of the best accommodations in Krkonose we have ever tried.
