It is affordable, rooms are simple, but very clean, the views from the hotel are stunning and most importantly the service was outstanding. Every staff member was nice, smiling, and nothing was a problem to arrange. The food in the restaurant was also very good, no artificial cheap bluffs. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful eventhough we checked in late without warning. One of my favourite nights was sitting in the bar with the staff as they taught my friends and I a Czech dice game as we drank together. The hostel room was very clean and the furniture and fittings comfortable and adequate for the price. We found oursevles eating at the restaurant. The food was great. Visited for a second time. Again, the hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean. TV still missing. Restaurant menu is strongly reduced than last year, currently they offer just few meals, most of them are fried. This probably means that you should offer a dinner in advance. One day the meal was very good, second day worse and probably did not worth it (for the price 9 EUR). One day the breakfast was not so good, the second day very good and rich. I would give something between 3 and four points, do not want to damage the staff so I put four.

Visited in October 2018. I was seeking for an accomodation in the last moment at Špindlerův Mlýn. Found this hotel for suprising price. Well, the room is not the biggest I have seen, also TV in the room was missng but for one night stay no issue. Important is that room was clean, with balcony and perfect view to the mountains. What was the best - was the approach of the staff. So friendly, such a family atmosphere! No issue, whatever you needed. Good dinner, very good local beer Hendrych, good breakfast. I think, we come back again because the location is great.

Perfect value for money in this expensive resort. Room pefectly clean, plentiful breakfast and very friendly and helpful owers, who personally take care of the guests. The glass of cold bier from local brewery, served on the sunny terrace with a spectacular view over the mountains, is a well-deserved reward after the day spent by hiking in the surrounding.

This hotel is located in a beautiful and peaceful part of Spindleruv Mlyn, out in the woods but still only 5 minutes in a cab to the lively centre. Cabs are 24hrs and always ready to pick up within 10 minutes by the way. The hotel itself is simple and functional, perfect for a winter sports holiday. The people who work there/run it though are top class. Especially Stepan, who waited for us on our v late arrival and even went to the trouble of making us a freshly poured pint which he brought to the room (points!!) it was 2.30 in the morning!! He was there first thing and helped us organise our ski and snowboard hire with Sport Mixer that basically cost twice less than the other ones I looked at (also they allowed us to leave the equipment at the hotel in the end of our trip) more points!! The hotel has a very efficient sauna and good showers as well as gorgeous views of the hills. Breakfast is decent with eggs and sausages, cheeses and hams, cereals and jams etc! There’s also cake. Overall we had an excellent time and it’s mainly thanks to the team at Horni Pramen. Thank you!!! Lucie and Ringo…

The hotel is located in the forest of Saint Peter. Simply furnished rooms, some with balconies and views of the valley. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel child-friendly, simple buffet breakfast, dinner with table service.

Great destination for families and companies! The staff was really friendly and helpful to answer in all of your inquiries. The room was clean and functional and the view from the balcony breathtaking! We enjoyed facilities such as sauna and playing areas.The dining room is a nice place to spend your free time with friends and taste some nice beer till late night, matched with great view on the valley. We had the opportunity to taste local recipes and the breakfast had a big variety. Quite close to slopes and city center, especially if you have your own transportation.

Very clean, super friendly staff, wifi, great home-cooked meals and top-quality beer on tap. Anicka at the restaurant and Sona at the reception were beyond helpful, they took care of everything we needed, you couldn't get the same attention at a 5* hotel. The hotel is a short drive away from the buzzing town centre that made it attractive for us. Quiet surroundings with marvellous views of the mountain valley. We enjoyed loads of snow, ski rental picked us at the hotel and we left the skis at the hotel at the end of our stay. The ski taxis made it easy to get right to the ski slopes and back, really great logistics for tiny skiers. Kids had plenty of entertainment with the table tennis, tv and sledding down the hill on the sleds we borrowed from the reception. We had a great time, will be back next winter.…

If you are not Czech,German or Pole,the Staff is not polite with you like with other guests.When we approached to them,they pretended not to notice us.Then they were talking to us,they forgot at once english,and didn't understand our english at all.Do you know,what our chief should left for him to do,if he know that his staff show smb's dislike?-He discharged the staff at once.Everything might be o'key,if location was good.But it is far from the bus station and the center.You have to climb up with your luggage and all equipment you have all the time you want to come back to the hotel.If you drive your car it is perfect,if not this is 1 hour minimum takes you to go there.Taxi is very expensive,because it is longest distance.Some good things was that the breakfast was quite well,all you need is there-nothing else.If you need hair-dryer you have to ask on the recepcion.There is no TV on the room,there is no picturesque scenery throw your window.So,for unpretentious tourists with no money and with their own car it is the cheapest choice!But if I had opportunity to choose something else I did it…
