Very nicely located Hotel Pension, at the very top of the village directly in the edge of the forest with a very nice view of the valley. Very good breakfast buffet and delicious evening menus. (Very good cook!) - Free Wifi. Very comfortable beds. Clean, simple room with good warm shower. Common room to sit together in the evening. Parking in front of the house. Card payment. - The hiking trail to the Schneekoppe runs directly along the house, you step directly out of the hotel into the forest. (Hike to the Schneekoppe over Weisse Elbe about 7h)
The approach by car goes a bit through the forest. - On foot it is a bit steep from the village up a path.

This hotel was the biggest surprise in Spindl. It is affordable, rooms are simple, but very clean, the views from the hotel are stunning and most importantly the service was outstanding. Every staff member was nice, smiling, and nothing was a problem to arrange. The food in the restaurant was also very good, no artificial cheap bluffs. Thank you, we will definitely come back again.

Visited in October 2018. I was seeking for an accomodation in the last moment at Špindlerův Mlýn. Found this hotel for suprising price. Well, the room is not the biggest I have seen, also TV in the room was missng but for one night stay no issue. Important is that room was clean, with balcony and perfect view to the mountains. What was the best - was the approach of the staff. So friendly, such a family atmosphere! No issue, whatever you needed. Good dinner, very good local beer Hendrych, good breakfast. I think, we come back again because the location is great.

I stayed here with friends during a skiing holiday. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful eventhough we checked in late without warning.
One of my favourite nights was sitting in the bar with the staff as they taught my friends and I a Czech dice game as we drank together.
The hostel room was very clean and the furniture and fittings comfortable and adequate for the price.
We found oursevles eating at the restaurant. The food was great. Classic Czech menu, very well cooked.
I would stay here again if I were in Spinderluv Mlyn.

The hotel staff is marvelous, I would definetely go back just for them, they're so kind and helpfull and interrested on a level that you'll not even see in a 5-star hotel, well done, we felt @ home right away! The rooms were clean an everything was functional. The restaurant is a place where you can sit whole night with an awesome view on the valley, playing games, tabletennis, drinking great beer for low prices and the waitress was the best ever!
We choose this hotel because it stated on the website that there is ski-rental, they sell ski-passes and that it's only a short walk to the ski-slopes. None of those 3 things are true, they don't rent skis and skipasses and the nearest skislope (Medvedin) is at least a 25 minute walk on a steep hill with mainly icy and snowy conditions, you can imagine the effort walking down and up there carrying ski's and wearing ski shoes. The nearest bus stop to a slope is also a 15 minute walk on a icy road and we walk fast. There is a possibility arranged by the hotel to use taxi's for transport to the slopes, but that is pretty pricy. Furthermore the 3 person room we booked was very very small without a view. The breakfast was very unsuitable for vegans and the dinner in the restaurant has a very small choise for vegans. All together still a lot a negatives.

Visited for a second time. Again, the hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean. TV still missing. Restaurant menu is strongly reduced than last year, currently they offer just few meals, most of them are fried. This probably means that you should offer a dinner in advance. One day the meal was very good, second day worse and probably did not worth it (for the price 9 EUR). One day the breakfast was not so good, the second day very good and rich. I would give something between 3 and four points, do not want to damage the staff so I put four.

Perfect value for money in this expensive resort. Room pefectly clean, plentiful breakfast and very friendly and helpful owers, who personally take care of the guests. The glass of cold bier from local brewery, served on the sunny terrace with a spectacular view over the mountains, is a well-deserved reward after the day spent by hiking in the surrounding.

This hotel is located in a beautiful and peaceful part of Spindleruv Mlyn, out in the woods but still only 5 minutes in a cab to the lively centre. Cabs are 24hrs and always ready to pick up within 10 minutes by the way. The hotel itself is simple and functional, perfect for a winter sports holiday. The people who work there/run it though are top class. Especially Stepan, who waited for us on our v late arrival and even went to the trouble of making us a freshly poured pint which he brought to the room (points!!) it was 2.30 in the morning!! He was there first thing and helped us organise our ski and snowboard hire with Sport Mixer that basically cost twice less than the other ones I looked at (also they allowed us to leave the equipment at the hotel in the end of our trip) more points!!
The hotel has a very efficient sauna and good showers as well as gorgeous views of the hills.
Breakfast is decent with eggs and sausages, cheeses and hams, cereals and jams etc! There’s also cake.
Overall we had an excellent time and it’s mainly thanks to the team at Horni Pramen. Thank you!!!

The hotel is located in the forest of Saint Peter. Simply furnished rooms, some with balconies and views of the valley. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel child-friendly, simple buffet breakfast, dinner with table service.
