We had a bad experience with the red haired receptionist. I caught her caught lying. At 1700h she tells one thing and one hour later at 1800h she forgot her lie and told me something else. Even confronting her, she keeps her poker face. First at 1700h she says i did not have the same room 302 as before, because it is a superior room and i did not book superior room. I think it is not a superior room, but if reception says it is a superior room, then i have nothing to argue anymore. So, i can live with that... But at 1800h i confront the red haired receptionist with the hotel website picture. And then this same room 302 is not a superior room any more according to the receptionist and the website. I tell her she was wrong in the first place, but she just keeps her poker face. Apparently she forgot her convenient lie from 1 hour before. It ruined the first hours of my holiday. But i step over it. Review of the hotel itself: - good breakfast - swimming pool needs some maintenance because of missing tiles. The jet system never switched on, maybe i should have asked, but on my previous visit it was regularly working without me asking. - Outdoor Jacuzzi is very nice, but a bit expensive i think. 550czk for half hour. - bathroom is constructed with budget material, not like a 4 star hotel should feel. Door of shower: you must be carefull or it goes out of the rails. Had to remove the plug from washing table else water would not drain. Some maintenance guy had a look, but after 4 days still not repaired. Drainage of the shower was blocked, after repair it is better but still not good. Shower was like water saving shower, not really enough water for having a nice shower. - Cleaning personnel spilled chlorine on the bed, spot of 15 cm diameter soaking wet of chlorine. I find out because my wife smells the odor and thinks it is from the swimming pool. But my underwear turned white of the chlorine. Personnel changed the sheet, but even after 4 days, there was no replacement available for the removed mattress protector. I do not know in Czech, but in Netherlands use of chlorine in hotel for cleaning is forbidden. - location is very good, parking space might be problematic, at the end of the day it is really full - musty smell in the room at arrival - paid for triple bed room, and got double bed room with extra bed. While there was not really space for the extra bed. You could see it on the strange position of the furniture. For example bedside table was not even close to a bed. Television was turned away from the double bed. - Free wifi, but do not expect streaming qualitiy

Location in the centre of Spindleruv Mlyn with comfortable apartements. Nice spa and excellent wellness procedures. The weekest item is cuisine. Fodd was (very euphemistic spoken) averrage quality and taste.

We stayed 7 people for 4 nights in the Lux apartment (room 102). The apartment was comfortable and spacious (would be better with an additional shower), good breakfast and very friendly and helpful front desk. The small swimming pool jacuzzi and sauna facilities are a nice bonus after a day of skiing! Conveniently located near center.

We stayed in hotel Praha from 27th Dec to 2nd Jan 2018. We booked superior room, which is the only one in the whole hotel. Nobody told us that the room (which is supposed to be the best room of the hotel) is located right above the bar where load music is playing during the evening till 5 am. When we complained the staff offerred us a new room (but standard one, really bad looking) or earplugs. So we basically slept in the hotel with not comfortable earplugs for 5 nights with ears swolled in the morning. We were 2 people in our 30s, but hearing everyday loud techno music till 5am is just too much. But this was just the start. The staff is the worst we ever experienced. The caretaker of the hotel is a person that shouts on the guests, he doesn’t know what is customer service. The receptionists and caretaker were constantly giving us various misleading answers about the New Years Eve dinner. It is one big mess in this hotel. The breakfast was average, nothing special. Don’t eat dinner at the hotel restaurant, rather go somewhere else, because the food is not good. Overall, I would never return here again.

The hotel itself is honestly pretty dated and could use some renovation. But that is very well balanced with the services. The staff is overall very nice and helpfull. The spa is beautiful with a pretty view. And the food is tasty, great selection at the breakfast. We got a package deal which was worth it for the price.

Maybe we had only bad luck, but our room was extremely small. If you are toll you will have problem with the toilet it is too close to wall. Room was clean, service ok. We had half board was ok, but the dinner was not tasty. Dinner was without salt, spice everywhere was missing taste. We can not recomend Hotel Praha Restaurant.

The room was extremely small. With 2 suitcases we could hardly walk in the room. The hotel is quite old, small elevator and oldish style. The lobby is not really useful, full with furnitures and not attractive. On the good side there is special pool, although small but unusual shape with whirlpool.

We have been there in March 2016 with my husband for a weekend stay. Rooms should be expecting reconstruction, but ok. Nice SPA and view. What could be uncomfortable is noise from Silver rock at night. There is no chance to sleep with open window. But in total it is good hotel with good service

I booked this hotel 3 weeks before New Year's Eve. Unfortunately the adventure I have been victim is something that exceeded my worst nightmares. After booking the Hotel I immediately paid for my stay- but after a few days the Hotel announced that there's a mandatory extra surcharge for New Years Eve. The extra money that I had to pay were one-third of what I paid before. A lot! I've to mention that there wasn't any information on booking.com about that surcharge! Once arrived to the hotel I could certainly say that it wasn't worth the money I had to pay. I was staying in two-star hotels that had better standars than this! I don't know how they got 4 stars...( by the way- it's REALLY very noisy from the bar below- all night long) I said to myself that I'll not complain since I booked the Hotel rather late. But what happened in New Year's Eve just made my angry. After a disappointing dinner ( I had to pay even for water!) I headed to the Silver Rock bar (where the event was to be held). When I arrived a furious waitress named Aneta told me that there is no table reservation for me, so I have to be standing all night or even better just leave the bar. After all this I went to the reception where I was told that there is nothing they can do about it.. I was travelling with my sister and her new fiancee', and they were all just mad and exausted.. Any decent hotel manager would have contacted me apologizing for the error and offering either a refund or an alternative solution... I will never book this hotel again and I will speak to my lawyer to see if there is field for a legal action! It's not about the money I wasted. It is about the principle. An absolute nightmare with nobody even having the courtesy of an apology! I think the hotel manager should be ashamed.

Rooms are quite OK, wellness is great but sometimes crowded. Receptionist was very nice. But 65 CZK for a 0,4 beer must be a joke. As well as hotel car which goes every day through the town and plays very (really very) loud music which disturbs all the people who would like to have nice quiet holiday in beautiful mountains.
