Rooms are very small for comfort, windows weren't clean. Very bad sound insulation, you hear everything from outside.
Restaurant in the Hotel is very expensive compared to others near by and it's not worth the money.

For a purpose of team building, my company organised ia stay with outdoor and indoor activities in Spindleruv Mlyn. We were 12 people spending 3 nights in the Hotel Praha. After having checked the website with nice pictures and thinking that "for THAT price it must be good!" the disappointment was huge.
Compared to a mountain hotel in Italy or Austria this was horrible. The rooms, beds and linen were of the cheapest fabric, the bathroom was so small. Only positive poit in the room was a big flat LCD TV (but with only 6 stations...) and the free WiFi.
The restaurant of the hotel is terrible, would I be the owner and If I cared about the opinion of my guests I would start with firing the cook. I never had one meal out of that was eatable. Some colleagues even had their "fresh" soup spoiled... Don't try beef, pork or chicken it's hard the same way. Maybe the cook is a former shoemaker... Even the chocolate fountain was terrible.
If you are going to Spindleruv Mlyn, don't go there... I will certainly never come back.

I booked this hotel 3 weeks before New Year's Eve. Unfortunately the adventure I have been victim is something that exceeded my worst nightmares. After booking the Hotel I immediately paid for my stay- but after a few days the Hotel announced that there's a mandatory extra surcharge for New Years Eve. The extra money that I had to pay were one-third of what I paid before. A lot! I've to mention that there wasn't any information on booking.com about that surcharge! Once arrived to the hotel I could certainly say that it wasn't worth the money I had to pay. I was staying in two-star hotels that had better standars than this! I don't know how they got 4 stars...( by the way- it's REALLY very noisy from the bar below- all night long) I said to myself that I'll not complain since I booked the Hotel rather late. But what happened in New Year's Eve just made my angry. After a disappointing dinner ( I had to pay even for water!) I headed to the Silver Rock bar (where the event was to be held). When I arrived a furious waitress named Aneta told me that there is no table reservation for me, so I have to be standing all night or even better just leave the bar. After all this I went to the reception where I was told that there is nothing they can do about it.. I was travelling with my sister and her new fiancee', and they were all just mad and exausted.. Any decent hotel manager would have contacted me apologizing for the error and offering either a refund or an alternative solution... I will never book this hotel again and I will speak to my lawyer to see if there is field for a legal action! It's not about the money I wasted. It is about the principle. An absolute nightmare with nobody even having the courtesy of an apology! I think the hotel manager should be ashamed.

Nicely located close to the center with beautiful view of the mountain. Praha has a cozy ambiance and is a great place to relax. Rooms are not big but there is enough around that that is not really a problem. Beds are comfortable and bathroom has a nice shower.
Staff really friendly and helpful, a delight to deal with. Restaurant is very good with enough choice when staying longer. Breakfast also good. Only thing I hope they will change is the pretty loud music in the restaurant from morning until evening. Seems to be the same disco era music and after a while I knew exactly which song would be next.
Wonderful spa only steam room did not work. Massages are super relaxing and observing the mountain and nature after a swim and sauna visit in the spa area makes it even better. Imagine in winter how beautiful that view must be.
Easy walk down to the small but nice center. Also several paths up the mountain.
Hotel has a bar and disco next to the hotel which is noisy in the weekends.

Rooms are quite OK, wellness is great but sometimes crowded. Receptionist was very nice. But 65 CZK for a 0,4 beer must be a joke. As well as hotel car which goes every day through the town and plays very (really very) loud music which disturbs all the people who would like to have nice quiet holiday in beautiful mountains.

My boyfriend and I stayed here on a winter trip to Spindleruv Mlyn. Our friends recommended this place as we were specifically looking for a relaxing experience in a wellness/spa hotel and we were not disappointed. The wellness facilities were great and the indoor pool was lit up with colors, unfortunately one of the facilities was temporarily out of order. Our room was simple but comfortable, breakfast was the same every morning and not to the standards of a 4* hotel, but still tasty, but dinner was excellent on both nights. I can recommend Hotel Praha.

Horrible!
We got a tiny tiny room which doesn't look like what the pictures show.
When we asked the secretary about it, she said that that's how all the rooms are.
(Please note that all the hotel staff hardly know how to speak English !!!!)
our room didn't receive the WIFI signal at all.
Everything at the hotel costs money, and therefor we did not feel like "home" at all.
.breakfast was the same every day with no variety
When we scheduled a massage for both of us, they made a mistake and ordered only one massage therapist so we couldn't enjoy it together.
. The service was poor and low standards and they never tried to Compensate us
and if that's not enough in the end we were the only ones of our group that needed to pay taxes.
for conclusion we thought we will get the best hotel in town, and we got the worst hotel ever!!!
