We stayed in February 2017. This hotel is very well placed, right in the heart of the old town, close to the main sights, restaurants and bars, and within easy walking distance of the bus and train stations. The public spaces of the hotel are stylish and impressive, although our room (on the fifth floor) was a little on the...

I booked this place because I wanted to stay in a place that reflected in the decor something of the country I was in. We were landing late and being able to find the place was a consideration as was the price. I was not disappointed with Hotel Garden Palace. Just a 2 minute walk from the airport bus (2...

Stayed here for a few nights last month on a first ever trip to Riga. Location wise could not be any more handy. Literally placed behind the house of the blackheads. Local attractions such as old town square, indoor market, KGB museum, soviet monument and freedom monument all within easy walking distance. The hotel was lovely, in a quaint old...

Fairly disappointed with the overall hotel. Room was cold (radiator never got more than repid warm)and reported several times but nothing was done. Mini bar was missing (hole in a cabinet)with contents put on a shelf, again reported but nothing done. Breakfast continually ran out of food and had to request items. Food was generally cold and poor quality. The...

Stayed here for a week over new year. The place could not be in a better location literally in the centre of the old town. Staff were very friendly, on our first night the heater broke we were supplied a temporary heater and moved to another room the next day. This was handled very well. Would highly recommend

Hotel is very nicely situated. All the places in the Old Town are within short walking distance from it. Personnel is friendly and mainly know their trade. All this said, there are many things missing; everything is nearly good, but not quite. Breakfast was a major diaappointment, as the staff was not able to keep in pace with the need.

The hotel was very disappointing. It is advertised as a 4* hotel but the room I had (Room 206) was nothing like what you would expect from a 4* hotel. When we arrived I found the lid of the toilet cistern missing, one of the shower doors broken and hanging at a strange angle, a large piece of wallpaper near...

Arrived at the airport and hopped on the bus and was dropped off and was in the hotel some 40 minutes later! It's superbly located slap bang in the middle of the old town so central for a quick walk to to the shops a 1 minute stroll to the shop that sells food/snacks and a coffee shop across from...
