When we arrived as a group the rooms were not ready yet and there was no hot water for showering and not enoguh of blankets. Its close to city center but be careful booking this place. Rooms were pretty tidy and humid.

Hostel from the outside looks very nice and it is placed in old city core. We got bedroom on 4th floor, and there is no elevator. Also, in the room there was 6 beds, but regulary there is space for maybe 4 beds. Also heating was off and not working well and outside temperature was -2 Celsius. Also there was...

Check in and arrival was great. Hostel staff very welcoming and understanding, clear instructions were given and guidelines were clear. Rooms spacious and ideal for family or couples. There is a wonderful view through the window to the main square of the Town, nearby there are best restaurants, bars, shops. I would highly recommend this place for its good value,...

Is ok if you looking for place just to sleep. Firstly I found it a bit creepy. Many stairs to climb. Is quiet and beds are comfy. Reception guy very nice.Location is very good. The smell people complain about is just old building smell.

Feel awful leaving bad reviews, guy on reception nice and welcoming but the place really smells! It stinks like sewage. Wifi weak. Room depressing and grubby, dreaded going back after sight seeing all afternoon. I paid 2 nights, but just left at about 10pm and went to hotel instead on emergency credit card. Listen to the reviews on this place, it...

Early this year I had to find place to stay in Old Riga for a week, in a photos it looked nice and price was alright, but this place was stinking I guess it is something to do with bathroom or toilet, it was disgusting. I could not take a shower because water was barely warm and that smell everywhere....

Very central, that was the best of the hostal, the rooms were quite ok and the staff as well. Typical central hostel to stay few nights with a good value for the quality you get. I can't complain about anything

The location is good but the rooms were not clean and it was noisy. There are many stairsteps upp to the place and no elevator, so for people with any walking problems can't go there. The staf were friendly and helpful.

The location couldn't be more central - absolutely perfect! Close to every attraction. The price is good, really cheap and worth it. The hostel could do with a bit of a redecoration, but it is very clean. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and gave excellent advice! Would definitely return
