I was helding vacation in Palanga Lithuania and it was really hot without a aircon in my room so I decided check out beforehand and booked hotel in Riga I have been visiting before.

Free parking is big bonus, some hotels will charge you 20€ per night in Riga.

Reception services are well done as those were also last time I visited in the hotel.

My room air-conditioning was dead, I had to transfer another room same evening I arrived.

Second room air-conditioning was so so, lack of maintenance.

Two first mornings breakfast was held in the rooms with carton bag cold items.

Bar was closed until the last night of my stay in the hotel.

Location is great, bolt application you can apply a taxi to Laima statue just 2,5 euros.

Hotel has 4,5 stars in Latvian standards. Well. One star less will match better.

Minibar items are reasonable priced.

Service: Was wonderful, they asked if it was my first time there and explained all the things nicely and neatly, not just dumping information on you when you ask yourself 5 minutes later what you just got told. They could answer all my questions and requests, if not them personally they got a person who could. They are professionals at their job. We had a moment when our relative forgot his keycard in the room and locked himself out, the staff registered a new card for him pretty fast.
Cleanliness: They clean the place regularly, I was on the 5th floor, the flooring is red carpet, and it was always clean, the same carpet goes into the rooms, and of course it was clean. Bathroom was clean, clean towels every day.
Value: The value of the place is amazing, I've stayed in quite a lot of hotels and places in Riga, this in my personal opinion has the best value, for the price of 45 euros a night(It was a standard 2 person room) that has free buffet style breakfast, with a great selection of food and dessert, air conditioning and great smaller things, it's hard to beat.
Location: For us it was perfect, the convention was at Kipsalas International Exhibition Center, which is a few minutes away, there is also a shopping center next to the hotel, for various needs, a great view all around the island.
Sleep Quality: Very good close to excellent, for a regular person it's absolutely excellent. The blinds for the window are thick, so you can block all the light from outside and make a near pitch black room. There is a larger lamp and 2 small bed lamps, and of course the lights in the room. The room was great for people that like colder rooms and warmer rooms because of the air conditioner. If someone was using the air conditioner, you could slightly hear it at night, it's really quiet but noticeable.
Rooms: We had a standard double room. It was a nice room for us both, enough room for stretching and even a slow dance in the evening. The bathroom had shower hats in a small box under the mirror for people that would need that, liquid soap and even body and hair gel. Hair dryer was already installed in the bathroom. There was a small sewing kit in the drawers, tea, coffee and a kettle and a mini bar.
Overall the Hotel was Excellent.

Location is very good, just a 5 minutes, 3 € taxi drive to old town. Free parking is a positive extra.

Room was fine, red woll carpets all around the hotel made a old fashion impression about sovjet style thirty years ago. Minibar was full of items reasonably prized and room was clean. TV channels, just few ones with a poor picture quality.

Breakfast was really nice and when thinking about the price ratio this hotel it can be called exceptional.

Front desk service was friendly and professional, girls working in breakfast restaurant fast and efficient.

40€/night with a free breakfast and parking, so close to the heart of the Riga. Bargain

The location of the hotel is especially good for car passengers. The hotel has its own free parking lot. The parking lot also has charging points for electric cars, and there were plastic barrier cones in front of those parking spots, so that no one accidentally drives into those spots. On this trip, I was driving a rental car, but I have a fully electric car at home. Room 705 had carpet. That carpet is not a good solution for allergy sufferers. Of course, according to the hotel's website, rooms suitable for people with allergies can be found on the 2nd floor. But that 7th floor room with windows to the backyard was very quiet. The floor drain in the shower corner of the bathroom did not drain properly, but otherwise the room was good. The breakfast was good and varied and there was plenty of space in the breakfast room.

Stayed here for weekend break in Riga. Hotel is about 20 mins across the bridge to old Riga . There is a shopping complex five mins away from hotel . We booked basic twin rooms and was upgraded to a superior room which had three single beds in it. Breakfast was ok , there was some young children from sporting club staying at weekend and made the restaurant overcrowded for breakfast and was unable to find a table. We had to sit in reception and eat our breakfast. Rooms a bit cold at night. Needs some painting in bedrooms . Hotel could be improved. Bar shut early, bowling closed and spa has to be booked per hour in groups . Not sure standard for hotels in Latvia but would not give it 4.5. Stars they had .

Multiple staff members were rude. Their attitude were not befitting for someone that works at a hotel and with international guests. During checkin I walked up to the guy working in the reception and trying to hand him my passport while saying “hello I have booked 2 rooms for me and my family”. This man a straight away, without greating me, told me “you have not booked a room here”. I then raised my voice and told him “I have booked and already paid for it”, he got super stressed and then took my passport and said oh oh sorry ok I see u have booked 2 room.. this is just 1 incidence out of multiple ones but this was the first impressions.. multiple other staff memebers had the same rude attitude.
The cleaners were talking with each other at 7 in the morning outside of the door in the corridor… I have lived in Riga for the past 5 years and Have my own place but my family came to visit and we decided to stay at a hotel for the 3 days being instead of at my place. Will never in my life visit that place again. whatever u do don’t choose this hotel there are plenty of other options

Very clean and nice hotel with good price. Only 4 stars because we were travelling with a 3 year-old and the hotel didn’t have a pot for a toddler and the breakfast was not very kid friendly. Location was good since we were travelling with a car and the parkinglot was big and free for hotel customers.

Terrible hotel. Outdated, noisy and dirty. Was there for business…third time. Second time in September 2022 they gave me a room just above reception…could not sleep at all. This time, the organisers asked el in advance to give me a quiet room in a high floor. What was my surprise to find out they had allocate me a room over reception again!! I was forced to call the event manager who managed to get me another room at a price!! Room with window that did not close properly…smell of tobacco and stains in every corner of the carpet, lamps that did not work…also breakfast and lunch/dinner just edible…AVOID! You’ve been warned

I am satisfied with the hotel and absolutely with restaurant but definitely not with the personal that works there. At the hotel we were from 15.10 till 17.10 and left home. After few days when I started to unpacking I realized that our perfume is missing and after researching and thinking where I could leave them I remembered that I left them in the hotel room 819, on the table where the coffee set was. I called to reception hopping that they really did found it when lady who cleans room or the person who checked mini bar found it and brought it to the place lost and found but they did not. I got the answer that the room was only cleaned the day I called (19.10) which brings more questions about that and then another question, did no one checked the mini bar after we left???? well that stuff is a full of crap. Perfume costed more that two nights in that hotel so I am not impressed that they did not found it where they where left at that room the day we left. Despite that, when we left the room, hotel we left only around 16:30 o'clock and no one came to clean nor check the mini bar??? I don't think that hotel works like that at all, as I know that the mini bar has to be checked until guests leave the hotel ant the front desk, being sure that the guests really did not used it.

The islande hotel is located very close to the river, next door to the olimpia (sport and food) shopping mall, and approx 20 minutes walk over the bridge from Riga old town. The hotel is a modern multi storey hotel with parking onsite.

I booked my transfer from the airport to the hotel through the hotel. In 2023 the cost was 30 euros one way for up to 4 persons.

Check in at reception was professional and friendly and I was allocated a ‘river view’ room on the 7th floor. Only one of the two lifts was working during my stay which sometimes meant long waits. Im sure this problem will be resolved.

My room was a comfortable twin room with mini bar, flat screen tv (a good number of English speaking channels), desk and tea/coffee facilities. (Note if you like milk in your tea buy some at store in shopping mall). The shower room was a little dated but functional. I did find the room very warm - just about fine at this time of year.

Breakfast is served on the ground floor next door to the bar. Their is both hot and cold euro breakfast offerings, as well as juices, tea n coffee, cereals etc.

The restaurant is located on the 9th floor with superb views over the river to the old town. I ate twice in the restaurant and the food was extremely good - especially the ribs. It does get busy with groups, parties etc.

This is a good value hotel 20 minutes walk from old town. If you want somewhere closer to the action, then stay right in the old town.

Карту Риги в отеле получить можно. Ужин в отеле дороговато. Есть нужно в центре на противоположной стороне, летом лучше всего кормят в летних кафе на улице.
