The location of this hotel was by far and away the best feature. We arranged an airport transfer prior to arrival which was easy to arrange and only 15euro. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very big and comfortable. The breakfast was included and was ok. I would recommend this hotel for a short break.

The kolonna hotel is in an ideal location in the old town of Riga. It has different types of rooms some of which are not en-suite, so when making a booking check on this. Breakfast was included in the price which was continental and very edible. Staff were very helpful and can arrange any tours for you also your transfer...

Located right in the old city, minutes to all attractions and Riga night life, this hotel's location was the main reason we stayed here and it delivered on that. Staff are pretty friendly and speak a good level of English. Room cleanliness however was not up-to our standard. There was heavy dust build up in some areas of the room...

The hotel is right in the city center and being well situated you have pleny of chioce regarding pubs and restaurants and discos. We booked a triple room and they gave us a room on two levels: bedroom was under the roof and third bed was on first floor, there was a tv in both rooms and we had a...

If you're looking for luxury then you're reading reviews for the wrong hotel. But if you've come to Riga looking for value, comfort, friendly staff and a well-located hotel, then you can't fault this place. I stayed here for a business meeting, together with another 20 or so delegates. No-one had a bad experience, either with their rooms or with...

I liked this place, it's well priced and superbly located. Staff are professional, rooms are clean. Stayed twice. Second time we got a better room on the top floor with a nice view. Breakfast is decent, but they did not fix the toaster even by the time of our second stay a week later. I got sick of holding the...

I don't know what people complain about it is very clean, staff are lovely and friendly, girls on reception so helpful. We were in room 21 which has its own bathroom and was quiet at night. Breakfast could be better but...

You can not beat the location, but I agree, the rooms can be noisy. I requested a quiet room and I did not get one. I was only here for one night (less than 24 hours actually), so I just used earplugs. It is very basic and I found the bed not so comfortable. The wifi works well, and it...

We've stayed in this hotel for 3 days in May. When we arrived there were no standard rooms available (we made a reservation beforehand) but hotel upgraded our accommodation to a penthouse room, and that was a nice surprise: these rooms are two-story rooms on the upper floor, and you have a nice view of Riga's rooftops. Anyway the room...
