The breaksfast was nice, but whoever is responsible for the playlist should really rethink their choices of music, few people want to listen to club music while eating breakfast, especially the same 4 songs over and over again. People want relaxing instrumental music when eating, not songs about partying/love songs etc..not everyone is in their early 20's Also the beds were not super comfortable, the pillows also are way to thick.
The spa may disappoint you, it is REALLY small, also the steam bath was out of order, i think they should have informed us about this in advance as we would most likely book another hotel, as my wife really loves steam bath.
DO NOT order a room facing the city, it is REALLY loud, you will NOT be able to sleep, there is constant noise of drunk people a shouting and music. The room we got was pretty hot and the AC was not working, and opening the windows was not an option due to all the noise of drunk people shouting and praying. The staff let us change rooms to a smaller one which did not face the street, no noise here.

We had a 4 night stay and decided on this hotel based on its excellent location for the sights to see in this beautiful city. The Wellton is located in the very heart of what’s to see. Most sights are within a 10 minute radius and if you’re venturing a bit further to see the Art Nouveau District just over a leisurely 20 minute walk. Check in was good, we were allocated room 402 which looked onto a courtyard. The room was very quiet. To sum up

We were staying in room 408 (if i remember correctly) and found it pleasantly warm during the day but could not adjust temperature in the evening. There was s slight noise in courtyard and opening windows was not an option as it would have increased the sound. So the suggestion would be to provide complimentary water instead of chocolate (that I have to admit we really enjoyed) - provide both if you can absorb it in room costs.
On the other hand we were provided with shower of red wine on Sunday evening in the lobby. After chasing bar staff we received our 3 drinks that did not land on table but all over all 3 of us, saddest thing was poor apology and bill in full amount.

Dear staff at Wellton Centrum Hotel & SPA, I am writing to you to file a complaint and ask for a refund. We stayed at room 402 from the 12th to the 14th of August. I am very angry at the way we have been treated at the Wellton Centrum Hotel & SPA in Riga. The behavior of the hotel has been totally unacceptable. The day we arrived (on 12th August) we reminded the receptionist at the reception desk that we had ordered an early breakfast to take away the day we were leaving back to Spain (on 14th August at 5 am). The receptionist checked it out and even asked me if any of the guests had any intolerance or allergy and I reported my partner's allergy to bell peppers. On 13th August when we returned from dinner we reminded the receptionist again , who was the same as the previous day, that we had ordered an early breakfast for 5 am next day. She reassured us not to worry and that there was no problem at all with the order. When we checked out on the 14th at 5 am the receptionist told us that the restaurant had made a mistake and that they had prepared breakfast for the 13th and not for the 14th. The receptionist did not offer us any solution or alternative. In any case, if they had prepared breakfast on 13th why did they not store it in the fridge and give it to us on 14th? What happened is totally unacceptable because we had insisted and reminded that we had an early breakfast because we were going to the airport at 5 am on the 14th. For all that I have exposed we demand a financial compensation to the hotel. An apology is no good to us, I want a compensation for the hotel's performance and poor service. It is very easy to apologize and believe that things will have no consequences. For us it was a disruption in our trip and at least we demand a compensation for a service not delivered. The room had been booked under the name of Manuel Dueso by the Seagull Group travel agency and the travel agency had beforehand specified in the booking that we were to be delivered an early breakfast because we were leaving at 5 am, so the hotel had already been informed about it.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Our trip had to be cut short due to a family emergency, so we had to check out 2 days earlier. The staff at reception was kind enough to pack breakfast for my husband and me as we were checking out at 5:30 am for a flight! They also refunded us for the remainder of the 2 nights which was highly appreciated. The room was very comfortable, very helpful staff (both reception and restaurant) that provided us everything we needed. Pool was also nice. Only remark - please make provisions to make the pool floor less slippery. Perhaps more of the mats that you already have. Many people were slipping and I was worried of falling as well since i am pregnant. Thanks again for everything!

The location of this modern hotel is in the midle of the old town of Riga. Very close to bars, restaurants and shopping possibilities. They have rooms with and without spa access included. We had a very large room with spa access. The beds were good, great bathroom, well equiped minibar with decent prices, ironing, bathroom with shower (soap, lotion etc) coffee/ tea fascilities and clean. The only minor was that the aircontitioning was out of service during wintertime. We shut down the heating and opened the windows during the night but there was street noise during the whole night (we used earprops). The breakfast was great, very good coffee. Is was very crowdy during the breakfast (also non residence came in to have breakfast). But we got a seat every day and the staff worked like horses and did everything to make the breakfast perfect. The spa was great, we used it every day, although for me it was too crowdy. No seats or beds available during the late afternoon. Efficient checking in and out.

Over this weekend we stayed at Riga Wellton Centrum Hotel & Spa for 2 nights. The hotel is very well situated in Center/Old town and is easily accessible by a car. Regardless of a post-COVID situation the hotel was fully booked according to the receptionist. Standard room was pretty well sized but had just a tiny window and the room felt too dark and a bit small. The service in Riga generally seems to be an issue and Wellton Centrum Hotel seems to be no exception. Hotel staff seems to have their own way of defining hospitality because whenever we asked for additional information or guidance then the answers were confusing and uncertain. When we asked to change our room for another room we were told to contact the reception next morning, which was impossible due to staff heavy occupancy. We ended up in the same room and with no reply back from the reception. When checking out no questions where asked if we liked our stay at Riga Wellton Centrum Hotel & Spa. To sum it up you get what you pay for with no extra effort or anything. Should you wish to have a bit more memorable stay in Riga we would suggest to choose another hotel though.

Unfortunately, the Wellton SPA Centrum Hotel & SPA are still closed for guests, but You can visit our hotels that are open Wellton Riverside SPA Hotel or Wellton Riga Hotel & SPA. The SPA zone is open from 10:00-20:00 for children, entrance is till 19:00
