It was my second time in Riga and second time in Astor Hotel. I visited Riga on 22/01/2016 - 23/01/2016. I can strongly recomend this hotel as a very good place to stay in. Let's take a closer look at advantages of Astor Riga Hotel: 1) Polite staff (everybody speaks English, some speak Russian) 2) Clean rooms 3) Good breakfast...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a business trip. Hotel assisted in arranging taxi from the airport to hotel with cost booked to room which was very helpful. On arrival the receptionist was very pleasant, efficient and helpful. Hotel room was of a good standard and although tv channels as ever were limited in English language options they...

Just arrived very early in Riga from a flight from Germany. The ride from the airport was wonderful and the architecture of this beautiful city is truly spectacular. All enhanced by a lovely blanket of winter snow which gives the city a magical quality. We had to get up very early to drive to the far off airport in order...

I visit Riga 1- 2 times a year since 2013. After one stay in another hotel I choose always Astor RIGA Hotel for its extremely good location, close to Old Town with many restaurants and pleasant atmosphere. The service is good. Unfortunately windows face either hotel courtyard or busy street but it's not important for business guests, who leave hotel in...

This hotel has a good location on the edge of old town. Beautiful building. Small high quality rooms, a basic (boring) decor, free Wi-Fi. Surprisingly poor sound proofing to hallway. Feather duvets and pillows a big minus (who likes to sleep among dead animal remains). View to back alley, the neighboring buildings look nice. Basic breakfast buffet.

Very centrally located. Short walk to everywhere really. Hard to get lost from this location. Great restaurants and shops close to the Astor Riga. Staff were efficient if not so friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was very poor. Best to eat elsewhere.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are modern and has very good beds!! The breakfast is good, it is just what you need and not much more. The location is also very good, you have all of bars and restaurants just outside. The service is also good, the staff is smiling and helpful. If I go back to...

I was brought to the hotel by a taxi driver who didn't know exactly where the entrance was, and honestly, it may be a bit humble. But once inside I was welcomed by a friendly reception attendant, got my room key and necessary information quickly. My room was rather small and faced the backyard. I took pictures of the room,...

I stayed at Astor actually last October. First of all the location is really wonderful located on the edge of the city center ( Riga is a very small city and you can walk virtually anywhere) , overlooking a wonderful park. All rooms pretty much have a good view of the park. My room as a single traveler was a...

Great location. Old town, restaurants & opera house all close by. Our room at the front of the hotel was very noisy. Had to keep windows closed at night to reduce street noise. Even with the windows closed when a group of late night partygoers assembled outside the hotel in the early hours of the morning to say their goodbyes,...
