#1 of 86 B&Bs / Inns in Riga
HOMESTAY is where we live. Our house is a friendly eco-build log house in the leafy diplomatic suburb of Mezaparks; Europe's first Garden City. We usually do a free tour of the Art Nouveau and Deco buildings after the best cooked breakfast in Riga. We have 1 large double as well as 2 100m2 fully self contained luxury short or long term apartments. Plenty of secure parking is available. The tram to Riga center takes 20 minutes. There are great facilities on our doorstep. Forest, Lake, boating, cycling, golf, BMX track, tennis, squash, fitness, saunas and a couple of class restaurants. We will gladly lend you our tandem. Book early. If in doubt stay the extra few days to give us the chance to help you organise the perfect Northern holiday. ( for Finns and Estonians we organise the perfect Southern holiday )

Spent a great long weekend with the lovely Diga in her beautiful home. We didnt arrive til gone 1am but Diga had waited up to welcome us. Our accommadation was everything we needed, a 2 bed, 1 bath self contained area on the first floor. Diga was really helpful giving us advice on where to go, how to get there etc. My friend and I really enjoyed our time with her over breakfast, long chats about life in Latvia then and now. The tram is close by and takes about half an hour in to town costing 1 euro. If I ever returned to Riga I would defunately stay with Diga again!

We had a magical stay with Diga and Eric last week 💗 They are phenomenal, experienced hosts, with so much warmth that you will feel right at home. They have the indescribable talent of being fabulously charismatic while still giving you all the privacy you might need. Ric kindly let us use his bikes so we could explore the beautiful nearby woodland. It's a perfect escape from the chaos of city life, and yet you are only 30 mins away from the centre of Riga! The apartments were cosy, clean and comfy. When I come back to Latvia there is no question of where I will stay!! Thanks so much Ric and Diga for having us 💜

Everything you could ever desire from a great B&B stay is here: Beautiful house. Gracious and fun hosts who treat you like long lost friends. Delicious and bountiful breakfast. Expert advice. Lovely neighborhood. Cute critters. Comfy beds. We would return to Latvia just to stay with Diga and Ric. Places like this are really what travel is all about, or at least should be.

We loved our stay with Diga and Ric. Both of them hosted us beautifully. We were greeted by Ric with warm smiles and hugs all round then dinner which we hadn’t expected but gratefully received. Diga was so helpful with local knowledge and assistance with tracing Latvian ancestors. I also enjoyed our morning walks Diga with Rafa the dog. Ric being a kindred kiwi lad I enjoyed your straight up humour and warmth. All in all a stay that far exceeded our expectations.

I was lucky to find these wonderful people and their beautiful home! They treated me like a member of family, and I sure like to go there sometimes again. The food was so good, so was the room and everything, and I hope that you find them too! I felt that my motorbike was safely parked. Their dog ( I cannot remember the name) was welcoming me nicely before anyone else heard me to come. A perfect HOME to stay a nigh or few!
