Stayed for one night. Spend just 35euros and got a wide room, with jacuzzi. A place is perfect, very near from the city center with a car. Easy to drive. Perfect for one night stay for couples. Worth it to go again.

Perfect hotel for one night stay. Big rooms. We ordered number for family of 4, and we got two rooms number with four beds! Was surorise for us. Rooms was very clean. One problem is that this hotel do not have private parking area. We left car in nearest public parking area.

We stayed here for one night as part of a tour! The hotel is in a residential neighbourhood of Soviet era flat blocks, the neighbourhood looks pretty run down! Before we even arrived at the hotel our tour guide told us that the hotel had said we were only to eat breakfast things in the dining room and not prepare things to take away, this is not uncommon as most hotels have this policy, the reason I mention it is our guide went on to say if anybody is caught taking food the hotel will charge them, if they refuse to pay the police will be called! A very warm welcoming to the hotel! Our room was classed as a junior suite and consisted of a sitting room with a sofa, a small fridge and a TV, a bedroom with a double bed but 2 single duvets and a bathroom with shower! The room had no air conditioning and Riga was experiencing a heatwave while we were there so we had to keep the windows open, we were on the side of the hotel facing the main road and traffic including trolley buses ran all night! Then at about 4am the birds started singing! The bathroom had a dirty glass in it and was in dire need of an overhaul, the toilet was cracked and in the morning the shower was incredibly weak! The room was not dirty but looked very tired and grubby, the furniture was all marked and on its last legs! The restaurant was on the ground floor just off reception and was a strange experience, when we went in for dinner we discovered our dessert on the table before we even had starter and they remained there until it was time to eat/drink them! We had a mushroom soup to start followed by a pork schnitzel with rice and veg, it was pleasant enough and the dessert appeared to be a berry fruit coulis with synthetic cream served at room temperature, it was very runny and not very tasty! Breakfast was a buffet affair with the usual offerings but was strange in as much as there was bread that was marked for toast but no toaster! The coffee was like tar it was so strong and bitter and the buffet was ok at best but limited, things were slow to be replenished and with 2 staff for 40+ diners they did their best but were overwhelmed! All in all the hotel was alright for one night, but we were glad that was all it was for! As I said we stayed here as part of a tour so this is where we were put, if returning to Riga again I would rather find a hotel in a better area and that is a bit more up to date!

Stayed 3 nights, overall very decent for the price: Good points: relativeley quiet, all the amenities, breakfast was adequate and seemed to improve every day (but dont expect michellin star quality ;), most staff were friendly and professional, the weekend receptionist was not very enthusiastic and even at first managed to give me a dirty room that looked like someone was still using, then changed it to a normal one. Bad points: it is way out of the centre about 25 minute ride on bus or trolleybus which conveniently stops right outside the hotel. The room was generally clean but the floor as it says on many of the other reviews is filthy, i mean common guys (hotel management) just deep clean the carpets every once and a while, its just so rediculous (you dont want to walk bare foot on it). The bathroom on the other hand was clean. The beds are comfy. The tv is practically non existent, i mean mine showed almost exclusively German channels ;)) OVERALL, id recommend this hotel if your on a budget, dont mind to be out of town, otherwise its quite decent for 3 stars. P.s: I attach pictures of the first room i was directed to: 😂

Overall this hotel is ok. It is a bit far from the downtown. If you have transportation, it can be a great option for an overnight if you are flying into Riga. Breakfast was good with few tasty options. My main complaint is the room's carpet; it was stained and thus appeared to be dirty. The furniture is a bit dated, but their is a bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed, which is great for a family stay. The staff is good and accommodating, and there was ample parking though it could get tricky if the hotel was full. Both check-in and check-out were easy and straightforward.
