We stayed in a twin room that was full of character. The staff were extraordinarily helpful and when we found ourselves in a unexpected dilemma they bent over backwards to help us . The location is in the centre of the old town so restaurants ,shopping and sightseeing is all within walking distance. Bring sturdy shoes as the roads and...

Gutenbergs has very convenient locations in Riga old town and it is nice and cosy hotell. I really enjoy my stay. Breakfast starts at 7:30 and it was too late to my scedule, but last mornig it suits for me and it was really good.

Our room was absolutely divine. Large for two guests. Homely furnishings and very clean. Modern bathroom. Staff were happy to help us in any way they could. Breakfast was wonderful catering for gluten free. (Even the slightly sloping floor in our room only added to the charm). Centrally located in old town.

Very good hotel in great location. Rooms not massive but enough for a short break. Only used restaurant for breakfast which was good most mornings apart from the Sunday which was a bit chaotic. Less staff on duty maybe?. Staff friendly and helpful and rooms very clean , maid came in every day. There is a lively club over the...

4-star hotel bang in the center of old town, and behind the Dom. The hotel is old, and therefore full of character. We specifically asked for the room that had a massive wooden wheel and beams inside it! Quirky the first day, though some might find it annoying as it leaves little space to move about. We mostly enjoyed it....

This is a nice hotel in a good location and good value for money, close to bars and restaurants. Friendly staff. Good choice at breakfast - cereals, cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, pastries. Nice room with a lovely bathroom.

Stayed here on business, I'd read reviews about the hotel being noisy at night. We stayed in December and it was very quiet. The location is great, right in the heart of the old town and most areas within walking distance. Check in was quick and efficient, the room was generous and old fashioned, but clean and functional. Wooden beams...
