Detailed Reviews
The hotel is lovacated close by the old town, around 15 minute walk through 2 nice parks, so we did not mind the distance. The hotel is 3* hotel, but the service is really 5 stars! The room was cozy, bed was very comfortable (extra point for free water). The breakfast was much better than expected, quality coffee, omlette, sandwiches, pancakes, yoghurts, fruits. The really best thing about this hotel is the people that work there, they really go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and cared for! We are really happy that we chose this hotel!

+1
This hotel is a lovely small family run hotel. The staff were so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I travelled with my 2 sisters on a city break and this hotel was about a 10 min walk from the city centre, perfect location.
The breakfast was a really nice continental breakfast with a mix of traditional Latvian food and breakfast cereals/toast.
The staff offered us tea/coffee on our return to the hotel at night, they were very kind.
Our flight was quite late at night so we were allowed leave our bags there post check out for the day until we returned back that evening to go to the airport. The only negative I have really is that the rooms are very small (we had a twin room and a single) this was grand for us but I could see how some might find it difficult with the lack of space.

Stayed four nights mid September. All the staff were so pleasant, courtious, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast excellent with a very good variety of choice including hot, cold, fruits, yogurts and cakes.
Rooms and hotel immaculate. Even though no coffe, tea in rooms you only had to ask at reception for a cup of coffe during day. Lift superb.
Location great and all locations within reasonable walking distance but loads of bus , tram stops less than 5 minutes away
Nothing but very satisfied with everything.
Rooms overlook a small courtyard set away from the main road.
PALDIES

The hotel is very well located in the art nouveau district, close to many good restaurants, in an interior courtyard which greatly limits street noise. The old town and the market are 15 minutes away on foot. The rooms are very functional and comfortable, bathroom and impeccable cleanliness, only the carpet could be changed. The breakfast is just excellent, with lots of local products and a wide choice of hot or cold buffet. The prices therefore offer excellent value for money. In short, a small family hotel (18 rooms only) where you feel really good, with very kind staff (the girls at reception are adorable).

Great little hotel within walking distance of the Art Noveau quarter, the old town and other delights such as the Latvian National Museum of Arts. Quirky bookshop Roberts Books is also nearby, along with various bars and restaurants. Staff friendly and rooms clean and comfortable.

Perfect location! Really cannot imagine a better one for this price. Very clean hotel and super friendly staff. However, fact that there was no air conditioning or ventilator in a room was a bit disappointing when there is 30 degrees outside. Will definitely consider this hotel on my next trip to Ryga.

Small hotel in the back courtyard in the city center. The owners speak German and are very friendly and helpful. Suite a bit worn but clean with a small balcony and fridge. Clean. Unfortunately not easy for allergy sufferers due to (stained) carpet. Excellent breakfast. 4 parking spaces in the courtyard.

The hotel is a family run hotel with Mum & Dad with daughters. All were helpful and extremely nice people. The room was clean and the bed very comfy. I was lucky enough to get a room with one of the three balconies which added to my stay there. So can highly recommend it for a stay in Riga.

Incredibly beautiful well ⁇ ined hotel, central in Riga. So it's walking distance to everything inside the city. Helpful and welcoming staff. Probably one of the cleanest hotels I've been to. Super breakfast and delicious coffee. If I come to Riga again, this hotel will be chosen.

Hotel location is fantastic in the very center of Riga - located in the back yard meaning quiet location. Rooms are relatively well equipped - not luxury but good value for money. Staff very friendly and fast check in and out. Breakfast ok and fresh. Coffe good. I have stayed in Edvards several times and for sure will be back

Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your question.
There are several possibilities how to get to our hotel:
1. Bus 22 - goes until Riga city center but its stop is quite far from hotel EDVARDS - it takes approximately 20 minutes walking. To get on the bus at the airport look for a bus stop located opposite the terminal behind the car park. Frequency 10 - 30 minutes, journey time about 30 minutes. If you choose to get to the city center by bus 22, you need to get off at the bus stop "Stockmann centrs". Price per one journey is 2.00 Eur per person when bought from the driver.
2. You can also take a taxi to the hotel (but please use only Baltic taxi or Red cab because other company taxi could be unsafe). It will cost about 15.00 Eur.
Baltic taxi and Red cab accept payments by credit card.
However, if you would like to avoid all of the trouble of searching for the correct bus and space on it, we can offer a transfer from Riga International Airport to hotel EDVARDS. The price for the transfer is 15.00 EUR. The driver will wait for you at the airport arrivals terminal and help you to get to hotel EDVARDS entrance comfortably.
If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us any time.
Best regards,
Ilze Veinberga
