After booking a bed in this place I arrived at the reception and paid for my reservation. I asked for the key to the dorm and I was surprised to hear that someone was 'living there' and that he was in the room. I thought it was a lost in translation situation but to my great surprise indeed someone was... More

Hostel is in the center of a local market, we visited end of April and the rooms were very very warm, beds were hard and created a bed rash from lack of cleanliness. the floor stank of damp and the windows lacked curtains. Bathrooms were clean but lacked soap. Noise from outside woke me up each morning, the sound of... More

Here with a group of lads for two nights, staying in a room sleeping four. Room itself was fine and a decent size, with comfortable beds. Shower was good too. Location wise this hostel is about 5 min walk from the Old town in Riga and not difficult to navigate. Lastly, I thought Daniel on reception was great, his English... More

First of all, the location of the hotel is great. Not far at all from the centre, and just in front of the central market - a very interesting place to visit if you want to see how Latvians really live! The bus and train stations are just a couple of minutes away. The staff there are very friendly, especially... More

There is not a big bed for 2 people but 2 seperate beds put together. Holes in walls and doors. Only window is 3 m from the floor in the roof. No TV. No fridge. Dont trust the 36 euros price where breakfast is included as the receptionist plays deaf about breakfast. Strange old men in sportswear sleep at reception.... More

Thanks for the comment. We are very sorry that you had a bad mood. Price double room 25 euros per night. We have a budget option. In the area of our hotel, undergoing renovations. Electricity was turned off for 2 hours. Time to take a shower, it was enough. We have the safest neighborhood in the city of Riga. More

It is basic hostel, me and my friend crashed there for 2 nights. Receptionist was really friendly, the rooms were clean, beds were okay. :) It's located near Old Town and the bus station, also a market place. During the day, the market place is okay but at night it looks spooky. Also, weird russian men just standing in the... More

Hotel has a great location, next to the central market, close to the railway, bus station and old town. Noisy throughout the day, morning cause of the market and in the evening cause the market becomes hanging place for youth and alcoholics. If you're not after too much of luxury and only want a place to crash with good connection... More

It was a friendly hostel near to the bus station and easily walkable into town. A bit rough area when going through the empty market but cheap prices to compensate. The "double" bed was two singles with solid sides pushed together but maybe not for all double rooms. You get what you pay for, cheap and cheerful.
