If travelling on a budget, this is probably a value-for-money option. There were things about this hotel I really appreciated, and then things I did not... Service Very friendly and helpful staff that did what they could to fix the problems I had with my room and showed great service attitude with everything. Location Not exactly centrally located, but a... More

This is a nice hotel that ticks all the boxes and is in easy walking distance of art nouveau district. Just be aware if you get room 113 and it is raining you won't sleep unless they fix the guttering.. Apart from that can't fault the place.

On the basis of you pay what you get for the hotel is ok. The room was clean and ok for a City break. The distance from the hotel to the old city was only 10 minuts walk. We got a good service at the reception desk the staff was very kind.

The hotel is in a good location. It’s not exactly in the town center but the distance to the old town is not too far and there are nice sites nearby as well (e.g Alberta iela with it’s Art Nouveau). The decor of the hotel and rooms is quite modern. The room was clean. The breakfast was diverse and quite... More

Stayed here for 2 nights including breakfast. Cannot fault this hotel. It's split into 2 buildings, we were in the back building, room 236. Room lovely, very clean and we had been left complimentary water and chocolate. There was a mini bar which we normally avoid like the plague but prices were very reasonable, eg, €1 for a water, €2... Hotel is a bit far from the old city but as we are a couple in our mid twenties the walking distance wasn't a problem at all. Actually the area is really nice and peacefull since it's located in embassy area. The area was also having lots of renovations going on so it will be prettier in no time. Little... More

Room was really nice, great size double bed (must've been at least 160cm), lots of choice for breakfast - assorted fruit, veggies, selection of cheese and ham, as well as all the standard items, plenty to choose from. there was only one downside but which for me was quite significant and hence 4 stars - the curtain in the bathroom... The hotel is very nice; it's hosted in an old building completely refurbished and decorated with modern design furnitures. It's composed by 2 building. The old one is just on the side of a cobblestones paved road so it is a little more noisy especially during the day, on the night when the traffic is low it's quite silent. The... More

The bedroom and bathroom were clean but the rain shower was calcified and therefore washing my long hair was quite an effort. The hotel is not directly in the city center but it's a nice (~20 min.) walk to get there and there are some nice cafes and restaurants nearby.
