I stayed in this hotel for a conference in November. I chose it primarily because of a deal I found online and its proximity to the bus station that served the airport and the city centre. The hotel is very close to the opera, and it is opposite a park which is ideal for a morning walk. The city centre is only a short walk away. On the other side of the hotel, there is a shopping centre (which I didn't have time to visit). The hotel's breakfast was good, and so was dinner. The room I was given (although had no city view), was modern, clean and spacious. However, there was an awful smell coming from the bathroom, and it could only go away by covering the bathroom drainpipe with a towel rug.
The hotel is a excellent hotel, calm and friendly. The breakfast is great, the rooms nice. Sorry I did not had the time to visit the SPA. I can recommend the hotel. The location is very close to the Old Town
Very nice stay. Nice room (very clean:) ) good breakfast. Nice to get a complimentary drink from the bar. It would be even more great if the steam sauna would be a more powerful (currently very little steam) and if we could through water on the rocks in Finnish sauna.
Stayed here in September 2019. Found the hotel rather shabby. Breakfast was poor, tinned fruit & frankfurters at breakfast. The bar restaurant service was slow as not enough staff serving.. Although in a central situation you have to cross the busy road via an underpass which is unpleasant at night.
The location, the spa, and breakfast were good. The room was clean but very noisy as it was right next to a bus stop and a major crossroad. The room was really cold. I asked the reception if we could have an extra radiator. The receptionist said she'll look into it and that they know some rooms are colder. I did not receive any feedback.
