My wife and I travelled with our 15 month old and found it perfectly fine. The room is basic but clean and comfy. The breakfast was absolutely fine, decent continental breakfast. We had toast, pancakes and apple strudel style-thing and enjoyed it. Our son had cereal and boiled egg. The distance is about half an hour on foot but the... More

Nice and clean budget hotel only a couple of minutes from the Old Town. hard bed. clean towls & bedding. free wifi & calls. continental breakfast. what really stood out foremost were the staff at reception. Very helpful and happy and English speaking (which was just as well, as we only knew one Latvian word!)

Reception staff were wonderful and very helpful. We were swiftly into our room. Room was a good size with toilet and shower room. Double bed. A fixed shelf for brushes make up etc. No wardrobe but a rail mounted on wall with 4 hangers. No drawers but adequate space for clothing to be paid out. Space for small suitcase up... More

What can you say about a hotel that clearly just caters for large groups of lads on stags? I'll tell you. It's basic, noisy and in a rough part of town. However, it is clean and the beds just about qualify for sleeping in. If you're not on a stag do and you end up here I would recommend a... More

The hotel is good if you're looking for a cheap place to stay. However, the beds are extremely uncomfortable and the breakfast is also not worth the price. The area is scruffy and wouldn't walk around at night time. Also no air conditioning so the room was very stuffy and it was hard to sleep at night.

Great hotel, very clean and good location. Perfect for a low budget in Riga. The tram station is just in front of the hotel entrance, easy to join the center. The breakfast is good even if the room is not well decorated (sad colours).

Rooms: The rooms where small and not soundproof at all. We got woken up every night by our neighbors who either argued loudly or made up after arguing – loudly. We could even follow their conversation if they just talked normally. The beds were okay, but the bathroom was very small and the toiletpaper dispenser only lets you pull out... More

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. It was lovely quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was good. If you rather spend your money on something else than an expensive hotel this is a brilliant choice. Would definitely come again : )

Dodo hotel is located 2 km outside Riga city centre. But literary outside the hotel is a tram stop which makes the location so much better. The tram ride is 12 min to the city centre and the ticket is 2€ if you buy it from the driver. The hotel is build 2008 and it still feels "new". Rooms are... More

I would firstly like to agree with other reviewers who said this hotel has bugs. I was welcomed into my room by a huge spider. I informed the receptionist and he was more than willing to change my room, but couldn't because there were no alternative rooms. So he simply came to my room and killed it. This bug problem...
