This sanatorium is the place you'll be satisfied getting there for procedures and medicine relax. Probably wouldn't be the most suitable place to go with your partner alone expecting superb feeling and beauty around. Big part of older people visitors there. At the very beginning you're getting doctors "to do" list for procedure schedule coming days / week. Procedures good quality and useful. Especially recommended to use all possible water procedures. Would like to point out good dining plan there. Fast, planned, enough choice of meals offered. Probably healthy menu as well. By wish go outside and breath fantastic fresh sea & wood air there. Nice and suitable place to walk around.
KRC Jaunkemeri is a spa resort in a pine forest in Jurmala, a five-minute walk to the Baltic sea beach and one hour bus or taxi ride to Riga. This resort offers spa rehabilitation services, from mineral water, therapeutic mud, swimming pool, gym and sessions with a personal physiotherapist – all this is included in the very, very modest price of a room. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price too, with a choice from about three meals. We visited free shows of folk dance and song troops in the resort concert hall. It looks like the resort never has an off-season, even in February it was almost full. It shows the very good reputation of the resort, but has its negative side: it feels a little overcrowded. A definite downside is the not so professional work of medical (clinic) reception on the second floor and an overwhelmingly rude medical receptionist (I.G.) on the first floor. Wi-Fi was good on our floor's lobby and very unreliable in the room. Pros: prices; location; really wide range of spa treatments and physiotherapy; professional and polite spa staff, good show program. Cons: very modest rooms; unprofessional and unfriendly medical reception, some overcrowding. Conclusion: come here if you need an inexpensive and good spa treatment and do not demand upscale hotel services.…
Thiis sanatorum is build in soviet times. Nothing changed a lot since that times... Despite recostruction, roomes are old, worn and not very clean. Everything looks more like hospital. Attitude from the staff is like in soviet times... Healthcare part is really good!
This place is not traditional hotel or spa center, this is place for relaxation and rehabilitation, also after serious deseases. The center offers a variety of programs for different purposes - after stroke treatment, auverda, moving difficulties rehabilitation, relaxation and slimming programms. The building and some rooms are renowated, some room are not recently renovated, but the furniture is new everywhere. The treatment base, the procedures are great, the staff is very attentive. Everything is extremely well organized - on the first day of our arrival they made a schedule for our procedures, so we had managed to get everywhere in time.. We were also offered to stay one night before our programm started free of charge. The food is plenty and cusine is tastes almost like home made. The place is situated aprox. 45 km from Riga in a pine forest. The sea with beautifull beach is about 250m walking distance. all rooms are with big balconies. Most of rooms do not have air con, so in summer it can be hot inside. TVs are in each room, but fridge is available for extra fee. All treatments and excersises are in Latvian and Russian, written information is available in English and german, some staff also speaks foreign languages, so no one feels lack of attention. There are different entertainment programs or cinema almost every evening.…
