Boutique hotel in Majori, center of Jurmala. Opened in 2008. Total hotel has 7 design rooms. The building reflects the tendencies of contemporary architecture and charmingly fits into the landscape of Jurmala. One can see from the hotel the sun rising over the river and hear the pines rustling in the seaside dunes. The interior can be characterised as unusual – touched by an elegant irony and contemporary lifestyle – where the dreams of happy human beings are enacted in the interplay of different forms of design.

Detailed Reviews
We liked this hotel a lot! Location is perfect - close to the train station and the city centre. Interior is lovely and our room was very modern, not big, but comfortable. There is a small beautifully decorated restaurant and a nice rooftop terrace. There are many choices of breakfast. The lady in the reception is very nice and helpful and the owners' dogs are so cute :)

I Stayed 1 night in this hotel.
It's located 1 minute walking from the tourist office.
The hotel have 2 parking places, but it's possible park the car in the area.
The staff is nice, they speak english and spanish.
Rooms are not big but enought. A lot of bath amenities.
free -and fast- wifi free of charge
The breakfast is not buffet, However you can chose 8 different menus, a lot of food.
If I visit Jurmala again, I will join in this hotel again

Very cosy and clean.staff helpful and professional.breakfast menu was perfect.forget buffette style breakfast.everything is cooked fresh whilst you wait in 10 minutes.fantastic cofee.restaurant interior was something special.room was clean and we found it very cosy plus a lovely balcony to chill and have a cofee.roof terrace also amazing.available 24h.minibar prices were a bit too high so did not use it.as a local person who likes ocasional daytrips to Jurmala I recommend this place as your first choice if you are after quiet weekend away.seafront is only short walking distance away crossing the main pedestrian street with shops and bars.defo coming back asap.check their website for 360 tour of every corner of the hotel.

I was really disappointed with this hotel considering the reviews were so good. We felt very unwelcome. I had booked the design apartment but was told I had booked a different room but could have the design apartment (it was confusing!) but that didn’t really match the picture advertised. The room wasn’t particularly comfortable , just awkward with the low ceilings and not really much space to relax. No sofa as pictured. The bathroom had no toiletries and there was a bath with a shower attachment but you couldn’t stand under the shower. The design is over the top and kitsch. The room wasn’t cleaned after night one.
But for me the worst was that we had breakfast included. We had to choose this the day before. When we came to breakfast we were the only people there , the landlady (I assume?) brought us our order , gave us a coffee, then disappeared. We had no offer of a second coffee. On the table there was some nicely presented fruit and a croissant each and a piece of rye bread. The first day I had ordered eggs and bacon and they came with nothing else (no toast/bread).
The second day I ordered the cheese and ham sandwich and it was delicious but my coffee had run out. I managed to catch her for a second coffee which she brought, but only for me and not my partner.
I would not recommend this or stay again due to not being made feel welcome. However the location was great.

We stayed 4 days in Mama Hotel and I can say it was really great. The place is beautifully decorated, has its own style. We had the top floor apartment (999) which was very comfortable. WI-Fi worked VERY fast. The breakfasts a'la carte were just fantastic! We tried almost every set and everything was delicious. Staff was helpful but not as polite as you can sometimes meet in other places, for us it was enough. The only thing which you need to be aware choosing the Mama hotel is the localization. We had a big street outside our room and a railroad - it was really loud when we opened a window. And the air-con didn't really worked well. But it is close to all Jurmala attractions and we really enjoyed the stay.

What I didn't like-room was basically on the high way, high way and rail way view from window (room no. 333), noisy, small strange room with empty shower gel can. Breakfast was not inspiring, so basically left table with empty stomach. Was not possible to pay by credit card, had to pay for the room before seeing it during the check in, also had to pay all extras by cash during the check out as credit card machine was "broken". Staff behaved in well trained polite manner, but polite doesn't mean friendly. In general hotel is ok, interesting dining room design, free wifi, smoking area on the top of the building ( also rail way view), near one of main streets and so on, but for this price at that period (end of May) in Jurmale you can get better place. Can't believe that people are giving so high ratings for this hotel.

We were there for 1 night saturday to sunday.Very nice reception, smiling receptionist. Room nice and cozy, interesting fact that nearby is a railway and highway but almost no noise. Good sound isolation. Nice roof terrace. Excellent breakfast. Would return there and suggest to friends who like luxury getaways.

We stayed only one night in winter but it was great! Rooms are very beautiful, great, modern design with special details and very comfortable as well! Hotel is quite silent, although it is close tot he main road to Jurmala. Beach is close, you can easily go walking. The only disadvantage is the parking- guests can use only public parking in front of the hotel and during the day there is not free places.
Breakfast menu is great, wide variety and the portions are huge- so be careful, the meal was very tasty!

We picked it according to the rating here and it didn’t disappointed us. It is indeed quiet and lovely hotel. Decorations are a bit over good taste, but still it’s lovely and I would stay there next time as well! It needs a bit renovation, as flooring is tired and towels are too old;) bed is comfortable and air conditioners worked well. We took breakfast- and it’s excellent with it’s variety, just pick what you love! Also, their food in restaurant is 10 points! We loved this hotel, it’s location, parking possiblities and food they provide. Thanks, well done!
