Porto Marine is located in a very beautiful place close to Lielupe river not far away from the sea.Few friends have stayed in there two years ago, so recomended it as wonderful destination to visit with friends. However, this time few misunderstandings appeared. First of all, at the arrival time guy from reception was eating, therefore we were asked to wait. Later he showed us a place explaining everything in maximum 7 words, as he got a call. Didn't explain to us that wood that was in our area is forbiden to use. Later came blaming us that we used it and telling us that we will be fined. This guy was a bit rude during our stay regarding many questions. Additionally, I think they should renew the place. We reserved a huge closed corner for a big company with 4 little houses, as it was the only available for 8 people company, however we didn't have any toilet or shower in there, every time needed to go to the public ones. So just in case you consider to stay there ask all the questions prior reservation to be sure that your expectations will be met. As they have multiple different houses and many different choices. …

You flagrantly violated the fire safety rules of our Holiday Park. You have made a huge bonfire that poses a security risk. You took firewood from our warehouse without permission. After remark from the stuff you began to be rude. The next time if anyone will try to make a bonfire, we call the police. You are no longer welcome at our Holiday Park.

Beautiful, new wooden houses in forest with massaging shower, heating, grill and outdoor seating at each cottage which provides privacy. We were all impressed how decent and stylish this place is for good price. JUST AWESOME!!! :) We definetly recommend to everyone. Great location at lake, 3 minutes walk to train stop to get to Riga center in 20 min. 15 min. walk to sea shore. Working staff was very helpful and hospitable. Cute cabins like a wooden barrel with romantic view directly to lake. New sauna section being open for visitors. It was our best accommodation on our way through Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

Kerrassaan mielenkiintoinen mökkikylä ja venesatama Jurmalassa. Ihania pieniä erilaisia mökkejä ja jokaisella mökillä oma pieni piha jossa on ruokailupaikka ja hiiligrilli. Lapsille leikkipiha ja pieni uima-allas. Perhemökissä parisänky ja kerrossänky. Siisti kylpyhuone ja pyyhkeet ja petivaatteet sisältyivät hintaan. Huoneesta löytyi myös jääkaappi, mikro ja vedenkeitin. Astioita ei ollut. Tässä mökissä olisi mielellään viettänyt useammankin yön. Lähistöllä myös vesipuisto ja ruokakauppoja. Very interesting cottage village in Jurmala. Different cottages with own small yard. There is an eating area and coal grill outside. Family cottage has a kingsize bed, bunk bed and bathroom with toilet and shower. Sheets and towels included. There was also a fridge/freezer, microwawe and a jugkettle but no plates, mugs etc. There are few markets and a water park near. …

Very noise place, all day loud pop music, the kids playground around our house, near the train roud. Administrator not polite. Garbage was not thrown away, cold water in the shower. The beach was far enough...the price 250€ per night...

What a nice discovery in Jurmala! There's nothing better than sleeping in the middle of forest with the amenities. The cabin we got was super cute, it had its own grill, microwave, fridge, a shower with multi head system. Wifi worked perfectly. There was a pool and beach chairs. Host is very friendly and attentive. Waterpark is within walking distance, city center around 10 minutes by car. Would definitely go back for a longer stay to get the full experience.
