Practicality and cost-effectiveness in a historic setting; these are the main features of the Biplan Hotel, which is located in a historic 19th century building. Its walls remember the visits of many well-known people. It was here that the celebrated Russian pilot, Sergey Utochkin, used to stay. In 1911, Utochkin in his Farman biplane demonstrated “flights in apparatus heavier than air” over Daugavpils to the public. Today, the hotel preserves the memory of those days in retro photos on the walls and, from the very first moments of your stay, you will be immersed in the romantic atmosphere of the first flights. The hotel offers 42 comfortable rooms, rich and varied breakfasts in our restaurant and conferencing facilities for up to 20 people. There is a picnic facility in the courtyard. The Biplan Hotel is conveniently located within a 5-minute walk of the historic city centre, the bus terminal, the Ice Arena and other popular sights. We provide free parking.

The staff are very kind, smiling, responsive. Breakfast brilliant, plentiful and warm. It was a little disturbing that there was not one big mattress in the bed, but two small mattresses. Comfortable parking, you can sit in the gazebo. Thank you, let's come back.

we were only here for one night, from outside Biplan hotel didn't look great, but once inside, it was much better. our room was very comfortable, and the parking at the back of the hotel was good. Breakfast really wasn't great, but overall a good place to stay, and excellent value for money

The hotel doesn't look very promising from the street side to be honest, but that changed when we when inside. The Delux room was nice with jacuzzi and sauna in it. The room is located in the first floor which is unusual but because of that there was allways nice and cool temperature as outside was about +30 C. The only thing about the room, we would wish a bit harder matresses. They were a bit too soft. Friendly staff. Good, rich breakfest with eggs and bacon etc. We would wish more of desserts as there were hardly any.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. Comfy bed. Location is great. Parking was available inside the hotel premises and it felt secure. Easy enough to get to. There is a tea station in the room. Breakfast was lovely and caffe is excellent! Thank you!

Only positive stay. I had great,quit stay ,very cheap price as I turn up the same day the staff wE very friendly It is great location,for those who want see Daugavpils riverside,just cross the road you can go by tram(3 I guess) you can go Marco Rothko art centre,Bustation(8 min walk)not far from towncentre,not far from Speedway.the hotel price included excellent Breakfast.

We spend one night in this hotel during a stopover. We enjoyed their own camera-controlled parking possibility and the low rates for clean and functional rooms. The breakfast buffet was basic but sufficient for our needs. The service was friendly and helpful.

The room #1 is large and clean but located on the ground floor faced to the main street with high traffic. So forget about opened windows and fresh air. The reception staff is very pretty, prompt and fast. Even drinks and sneaks are available but extra. The breakfast is very limited but delicious and fresh.

The hotel is cheap and the rooms are basically equipped and clean. The breakfast is good. WIFI is working well for youtube. Parking space is available in a yard. It can be a bit noisy for rooms with windows to the main street. So there is good value for the money.

Very nice hotel. Near the centre town. Very friendly staff. Nice big room. We stayed two nights. Breakfast was very good. Free WiFi and Free parking. We can warmly recommend that hotel to everyone. Very peaceful situation and you can easily walk to the centre of city.

Hotel has good location - close to the center of the city. Parking and place for rest with novus in the yard. Very friendly and helpful stuff. A little bit noisy, becose hotel is located close to the road.
