Friendly vibes in the Herne B&B, the rooms are spacious and quite nice. The two big downsides for us were that the walls were too thin (we could hear our neighbours snore) and the shared bathroom (too small, not enough hot water and the shower is simply a faulty design). The price however is good and the kitchen rather well equipped. And they have a very nice terrace. In terms of location: we were there by car so I cannot speak to how far it is from the city centre by foot.

Got a room no 1 for two with a big bed. Everything else was ok except for sleep quality (which was the main thing for us). We could hear every action of next room neighbour absurdly loud like the wall was made out of rice paper + everything going on in the corridor all night long. Wouldn't say extremely cheap, because there's better places or at least the same, which you can find 10 euros cheaper... If you're a heavy sleeper, go ahead!

Stayed there for 3 nights. The room and bed were bigger than I expected. I also took breakfast (it's an option) and it was standard, but very good. Free parking (though there's only one lot), wifi. 10 minutes walk from the center. Highly recommend.

Our host was welcoming, the place was clean (but not more), kitchen available but super basic, the room was really big with a big window, 2 clean and good separate beds, a big table and cupboard. Shower separate and very small but ok. Toilet with sink separate also very small. No breakfast Nice to stay there for small budget and not to much comfort needed.

Good value for money. Short walk to Old Town. Walls are a bit thin which is fine depending on who the other guests are. The kitchen is well equipped. Staff is very nice, I book another spot but they no longer had a room for me when I arrived so they booked me here. They were very helpful in storing my luggage as I left on a later bus to Riga.
