Renovated in May 2020! Renovated Art hotel Pallas is a three star, superior hotel that offers comfortable accommodation in the downtown of Tartu at affordable rates. You will be enchanted by the excellent location, modernist glass facade and interior design, inspired by the works of the artists from the Pallas School. The hotel has 62 hotel rooms, divided between three floors, offering a view of the busiest quarter of Tartu town centre or a peaceful courtyard. The hotel has special rooms for people with allergies and special needs. Parking area for the hotel guests can be found from the courtyard and is accessible via Aleksandri and Soola Street.

We stayed in a superior room on the third floor for one night. Room was very spacious and clean with a great view. The only downside was traffic noise. I have stayed in this hotel before and I don't remember that much noise from the last time, but I guess our room was on a higher floor last time. Breakfast was served in restaraunt Humal and it was excellent. There was no phone in our room to contact reception in case of emergiencies or questions. We didn't need it this time, but in some cases it might be useful. There are free parking spaces behind the hotel. Location is very good. I would stay in this hotel again.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting a conference in Tartu. Hotel is recently renovated at very central location next to theatres, Kaubamaja and with a good walking distance to Tartu University or Old Town. Rooms and corridors look fresh, view over the park is nice and breakfast at restaurant Humal was good experience with very efficient staff, good food variety and quality. You could borrow iron and ironing board from the reception and cold fridce in the room was bonus. Unfortunately there were also some issues in the room that I did'n t like: 1) The noise from the street makes you awake at night 2) The airconditioning was shut down for some reason? - there was a hatch on the wall that you could open but... 3) There was a place for coffee machine and kettle but either they haven't been placed or they have been taken away due to covid or... 4) There was no way to contact reception - if you didn't want to walk downstairs. Stay higher floor and maybe choose to look backyard if you mind noise during the night…

Very very satisfied. Beautiful hotel with everything you need. Love restaurant Humal breakfast choice and interior design. Soft bed and sheets. Only con I would bring out is that the air-conditioning generator on the wall (outside of the building) is vibrating quite intensely so it makes me feel like I'm in some kind of industrial building. Makes my ears to "vibrate/ go lock" feels like pressure on my ears or smt. But it doesn't bother my other half so I quess it depends on how sensitive you are. Overall I'm very very pleased and dare to recommend! And they have a safe and freezer in the room 😉

A fully renovated hotel in the heart of Tartu - the opera theatre basically next door and the old town 4 minutes walk away. The hotel is special having a lot of Estonian art to decorate the rooms. The breakfast was lovely and the restaurant has great town views. My room on the IV floor was very comfortable.

I was pleasantly surprised when i visited this hotel. It is a quite old hotel and I always thought it is outdated. It is renovated 2020 and this was my first visit after renovation and I must say they have done very good job. Rooms are very nice and clean.

We stayed there 1 night. Good location, free parking. Nice and very clean. Our room for 2 adults+1 teenager was big. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room in the bathroom. Very tasty breakfast. We made a reservation from the hotel directly. Worth to stay there again.

Me and my family stayed in Pallas for one night and everything was just great (so it'll be a short review). The room was fresh, clean and quiet, the staff friendly and you cannot beat the location of the hotel (dead centre of Tartu). The breakfast is served in Reval Cafe next door and it was really good with exceptional coffee. The only thing that can be tricky is the parking as there are limited spaces in the hotel parking lot but we were lucky to grab the last spot. So definitely a very recommended place.

Location of the hotel is excellent, everything is nearby. Our room was rather small, but had an excellent sunset view from the window. As one wall of the room was a window, you could watch this view from the bed instead of TV. Parking spaces behind the hotel are very limited. Breakfast was served in the cafe next to the hotel.

Our a stay at Art Hotel Pallas was a major disappointment. We were charged €210 for the last available room. This was clearly an overcharge for this extremely cheap looking hotel. The design is ugly. There’s no breakfast. No gym. No hot water pressure in the shower. The receptionists are untrained and unprofessional. There was noise from neighbouring rooms The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Linen was new. Pillows very very cheap and uncomfortable. We shall never go back to Pallas.
