This hotel is well located in the old town. The overall design of the hotel is poor, it would appear that it is a work in progress. In our wing the ground floor was not being utilised. First floor rooms only have access from a staircase. Our room had a small window that opened about 60mm giving very little ventilation... More

This hotel is quite average. The rooms are not very nice and there is no wifi in the rooms. The breakfast was boring and not tasty. The best part about the hotel were the pools. The pools were mostly just pools and were not very special. Although, we did enjoy the outdoor hot tub. All in all, it was a... More

This is a bog standard hotel with a rather outdated spa but is generally not bad. My main complaint about it is that we arrived very wet from rain that had suddenly lashed down and I went in search of a drier. I saw a member of staff disappearing into a room which said "laundry" so I followed and knocked... More

Where to start? It has been a while since I was in a hotel this poor. It was on an organised travel tour so no way to avoid it. I read a couple of other reviews and I see that they all suffered some or all of the things I suffered from.... - Heigh windows on one side without curtains... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and I absolutely hated it. Why you ask? Starting with the fact that the "hotel" is more interested in running the gym as opposed to attending to hotel patrons. I was locked out on the second day because they did not know that our tour group was staying 2 nights so I had to get... More

The location is good for going back and forth to town. Otherwise it is not the best, although as it was booked by a group I can't comment on value for money. I reiterate the advice about eye shades. We were there in brilliant weather and I needed sunglasses in the room given the amount of light coming through the... More

Modernish hotel with fairly large rooms painted in very bright colours. Good TV, clean sheets and fully serviceable, the room we stayed in had no view which didn't matter as the old town is so close, so there is loads to explore and see nearby. The desk staff were brilliant, really nice and helpful. As for the pools, what's not... More

As you approach Hotel Braavo you are surrounded by a graffiti covered street and then you enter a car park and in the distance is a gym with rooms attached. The reception area is adorned with trophies and cups. To get to your room you have to climb many stairs and landings. I asked every day if they could open... More

I liked this hotel. It's in a great location just at the bottom of Old Town. The rooms were large, clean and modern. Access to the pool/sauna in the morning was a huge bonus! My only word of advice - if you want quiet downtime during the day or go to sleep early, ask not to be put in the... More
