One of the best hotel experiences! Staff extra nice and helpful and all hotel facilities are more than you need to feel relaxed after a long day of walking in Old town. Mattress is made for a perfect night sleep, heated bathroom floor for a chilly morning and authentic interior that takes you back to the 13th century. Best value...

This small hotel offers a hideaway in a perfect spot in the "Old Town". The restaurant distinguish itself from the touristic places you'll find closer to the main square with it's prize winning chef and cuisine menu for the same amount. Furthermore, the breakfast offers sparkling wine and coffee of your choice. What a nice place to spend a long...

We had the most amazing time at the Cru Hotel. The room was cozy and a huge plus was the big bath tub in the room. The hotel breakfast was by far the best we've ever had. And the restaurant was amazing too, had a beautiful 3-course-dinner there. If you decide to eat there (which you should😉), you must try...

Really beautiful and nice hotel. We had room from the street side, but noise wasn't too bad for us. And, if you want hotel from the main street you have to understand there will be noise. Dinner package was excellent. Building is old, so you cant get all modern things like elevator and power outles next to the bed, but...

I would give the hotel 3,5 stars. It's not completely average but it could be better with some small details. Just like everyone else has said it's all about the LOCATION. Perfect in every way other than the sleep aspect. We had a suite which was on the prom's side - you can forget sleeping deeply as there is for...

Dear Janina P, Thank you very much for your feedback, it is much appreciated! Hopefully we can change and work on some things that you pointed out, sadly, we can not do anything about the Viru street being the main street in Old Town of Tallinn. It will get more busy and more loud during the summer, so we really...

CRU hotel is quite a unique place. Its located in the centre of Old Town in Tallinn. Hotel is not very big, giving the staff enough time to make every visitor feel special(believe me, they do make you feel special) It has an amazing restaurant downstairs, with one of the best chefs in Estonia running the show. Lovely, little boutique hotel right at the Viru gate, of the Old town. Location makes seeing everything around within comfortable walking distance, whilst room was also warm and clean. Staff were very polite and welcoming, and the restaurant topped it all off with exceptional dishes and an memorable, all-round dining experience.

The room was very large and clean (we had a king bed room with a sofa bed). Because of the age of the hotel there are odd angles and steps up and down even in the room. While this was charming and added to the experience the layouts may be harder for a person with less mobility. Breakfast was very...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Late Medieval architecture in one of the oldest houses in Tallinn together with first-class service and possibilities create a unique atmosphere which connects with the environment surrounding the hotel. When renovating the house we respected both the initial architecture and the strict national heritage protection requirements that ensure that both the location and design of the hotel rooms is as loyal to the original concept of the house as possible. In 1997 Tallinn Old Town was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list and that can be regarded as the highest international acknowledgement to any historic town! In addition to a usual lodging experience we offer you an exclusive luxurious boutique-type experience, deriving from the unique design of the hotel building and its medieval legacy. Since all the rooms are unique and different from each other, the visitors may choose the intimacy or luxury of their preferred environment. Our breakfast is made of self-made or farm-grown fresh high-quality ingredients that are not so easily, if at all, found in shops. Natural and fresh breakfast is a unique experience that lights up the whole day! On the lower storey of Hotel Cru you will find a cosy and highly regarded restaurant of the same name. Hotel guests enjoy 10% off all items on the restaurant menu. Dmitri Haljukov, the head chef of the restaurant Cru, represented Estonia in the chef olympics final Bocuse d'Or in Lyon 2015. CRU Hotel is a good choice for both - leisure and business trips! ... more   less
