The hotel is in quite a nice place. You can see the Vana Tallinn and Telliskivi is just over the traintracks. Free parking! The room was for two adults and two dogs. Very simple, rather cheap feeling room with some nice details. The cleaning was lacking though. The toilet hadn't been cleaned well (I'm a former cleaner myself!) and the floor wasn't that clean either. Beds were good though. And it was okay for a one night to stay. The breakfast I'd give a 2,5/5. Very general assortment of meatballs, sausages, bread, yoghurt and toppings. But the egg scramble... I've never eaten an egg scramble that bad! It was dry, didn't taste good (a little metallic maybe) and definitely lacked any cream, butter and salt. I might come again for a short visit like this, but don't expect anything more than the price actually is. The staff was ok, no problem there.

I spent here a weekend in May together with my relatives. The location of the hotel is good and it offers you a good solid price/quality relation. In addition, the hotel is clean and rooms were tidy. Breakfast was OK. The reason for my one star is that basically any hotel has two major ways to ruin a customers experience: A. You sell the hotel room for the customer in advance, but once the customer arrives you don't have the room or any other room available. B. You give the key to the customers room to another customer. The B. happened to me and to my parents who were staying in another room. In the morning I was horrified to wake up that some strange people opened my hotel room and came rushing in with their own keys. The same happened to my parents room. After this we went to the hotel lobby to clear the situation. The lobbyist said that the problem is fixed that this was only a minor error that they gave keys to wrong rooms. I feel they didn't take this situation seriously enough, and weren't even sorry what happened. To me This is one the worst mistakes a hotel can make! However this moment ruined our experience in the hotel. I was nervous to leave anything to the room, and my mom stayed up the whole next night fearing that someone might rush in their room again in the night (after bar etc.). I have to say this was the worst hotel experience in my life. It is very uncomfortable feeling when your privacy is violated and you get the unsecure feeling for a holiday when you would like to just relax. I didn't feel safe in this hotel.

Dear Jussi, We would like to once again offer our sincere apologies to you and your family for the unpleasant situation! What happened was caused by a regrettable error on the part of our employee, who had mistakenly omitted the necessary confirmation in the system when changing shifts. We have thoroughly analysed and discussed the situation with the employee in question and our entire team, and we have implemented a procedure for double-checking the cards we give to the customers to prevent such incidents in the future. We aim to ensure that our customers have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay here, and this is something we certainly do not want to compromise on. We hope you will accept our apologies! Best regards, Go Hotel Shnelli

We had a nice stay at Shnelli. Fairly good breakfast. Free parking as long as you remember to leave you license plate number at desk. We also eat in the evening. Now bad menu and service good. Location near town center is great, also not far from harbour. Train station didnt disturb at all. Price vs value great.

Location: right on top of the train station. Tallinn old town and Toompea are within ten minutes' walk. Right next to the hotel is a supermarket, a pizzeria and a couple of other fast food places. The hotel itself has its own restaurant - more on that later. If arriving from the airport then you need the number 4 tram to Pobujaama and then either the 1 or 2 tram to Balti Jaam. Room: Adequate. Loses a star because the bathroom is one of those awful wet-room types where the shower water goes everywhere, they do provide a squeegee so you can clear up some of the excess water but it's not ideal. Wifi worked absolutely perfectly. Ask for room 602-610 and you'll be rewarded with a fantastic view of the Old Town. The traffic noise may become bothersome during the day time but it does calm down enough at night. Staff - about as nonchalant and robotic as you'd expect in this part of Europe. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Food - didn't try the breakfast but I did have the roast duck. My complements to the chef, this dish is an absolute success. This alone made me very happy to have chosen this hotel. WARNING - the hotel will try to sell you various soft drinks for exorbitant prices, despite being next door to a supermarket. Go to the supermarket for all your drink-based needs and save yourself a couple of Euros.
