Hotel is in a great location just round the corner from Tallinn old town main square and opposite a big beer hall. Breakfast was good, sauna was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived the room was a little cold as the heating wasn't on, but the staff immediately brought us two electric heaters which soon... More

At the reception we met the nicest receptionist, they were so helpful and even escorted us to our room. We got the city map and they pointed out things we should definitely see on our short trip here. The room is clean, bathroom is well equipped and the restbof the staff is ao nice, so i would recommend this hotel... More

A special hotel with a historical touch very centrally placed in the area of the old town In this hoteĺ you don t find one stright wall and no equal steps in the stairs! But you find a historical athmosphere and rooms with wonderful arcitectiral solutions! You also find nice personell and good breakfast.

The hotel is ideally situated to walk round both old and new towns. Near to the main (old) square where it was easy to find places to eat. You can walk to the main tourist attractions and the hotel staff on reception were very helpful in recommending the best way to see everything. The hotel was quiet and warm. Saunas... More

With many nice cultural places, great employees and very decently priced nice rooms in a tasteful style (i recommend room 213 for size and the Chesterfield couches ;O), this place is veery price-worthy! Nearby there are many restaurants cooking up lovely food as well as the Town Hall Square Rekoya. I sincerely recommend this hotel. Regards, Marcus

Very clean, has nice decor, very friendly and helpful, also the location is perfect cos is in the centre of the old town! - the only problem was the internet in the room was too weak. We just have to go to reception to get signal.

Our 2nd floor room [310] was a corner room. Lots of light/windows and space. Large bed, closet with slippers and robes. Very nice shower. An excellent room. Service fine – including getting us a taxi and making us a take-away breakfast so we could catch an early morning flight.

We selected the Merchant's House Hotel because it was within 1 block of the Town Square of Tallinn. Location. Location. Location. Each room in this quirky hotel is unique and different because of its location in the historic buildings. Our room was really cool with exposed brick walls and a warm cozy scale. Great breakfast. Helpful staff. Convenient location just... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights whilst exploring the city. It's probably the best located hotel in Tallinn, being 20 metres from the central square in the middle of the old city. An old building beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished. Bedroom was a good size and bathroom fine with nice toiletries. No tea/coffee facilities. Staff very friendly and... More
