Detailed Reviews
Normally I don't stay in Hotels. But I want to save money and to stay in the old town of Tallin so I choose that hostel.
I booked single room with private bathroom. Which was spacious enough.
There were 2 beds, hairdryer I took at the resection. Also there were kitchen where I could make tea & coffee and keep food in the fridge. There were cooker, I haven't use it but I've seen people who did it.
It's not such kind of hostel where many people meet in a living room. There were several families with kids and some solo travellers.
Moreover you can take breakfast for only 6 euros in Reval Cafe which is 5 minutes walk. To be fair I've eaten only there after it because it was tasty, cozy and fast.
If I need to stay in the center of Tallin I would deffo stay here.

I arrived and was shown to the (comfortable) bunk bed. Met by smiling guests, I even performed religious rites with a gent I encountered there. There happened to be an attendee going to the same event I was, whom assisted me (using the facilities present) to be presentable.
The kitchen was big and helped lower expenses of the stay, as well as serving as a neat space to talk with various interesting people.
The staff was kind, the showers and restrooms clean and the location was unquestionably beyond what even top rated hotels in the area offered.
The private room that I stayed in for the second half of the time I spent in Tallinn, was very nice. However there was little sound-insulation. I actually chose the hostel as it was listed with a bathtub on booking.com - contacting them up ahead that proved inaccurate, however I took it as divine guidance, making the stay in Tallinn easier and it allowed me to focus on the reason I was there.
Overall: Cozy atmosphere, kind staff, strong divine connection, clean, comfortable, focused people, great kitchen and all that at a very friendly price.

The hostel’s location couldn’t be more perfect—situated right in the center, it made getting around a breeze and put everything within easy reach. The cleanliness was top-notch as well, with every area, from the rooms to the common spaces, kept in pristine condition. It’s clear they pay close attention to hygiene, which made the entire stay feel more pleasant and worry-free. You can really tell they take pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

We spent four nights at this location. Great location in the middle of everything. We had a room with its own bathroom. It was worth it. We had no issues with the building or staff. The guests could be cleaner in the shared kitchen and dining area. The internet worked well, but occasionally slowed down. Still faster than what we have at home. I would stay here again.

This is a very well run guesthouse. Super clean rooms (i stayed in a big triple room on the 2nd floor), manager is very friendly and helpful, Netflix is a plus. I liked the keyless system, all you need is a code to open doors. They also provide towels, which is not very common. Nothing to complain about, thanks guys!

I stayed in Munkenhof for 3 nights in December. Although there were mostly locals due to the current situation the guesthouse still had a very pleasent vibe. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, beds super comfy. The manager gave us extra blanket and pillows. Great location, supermarket is 3 minute walk away, We didn't go to bars but the manager was very friendly and reccommended us some good places to eat. Thanks guys and hopefully see you again next summer!

Great location, big spacious rooms. Our room was on the 2nd floor (triple). Very clean, shared bathroom but it was just across the hallway so no problem. There is a big kitchen with everything you need and dining room. Not many tourist there at the moment so very quiet place. The manager was a friendly guy, we got there 2 days before lockdown so he gave us some good tips where to eat etc...

It's a very nice guesthouse. I stayed in a dormitory which was very clean and comfy- nice soft bed, reading lamps and bedside plugs for charging your phone. They have a very convenient contactless check-in system. The host was super friendly and helpful, i would definitely stay there again!

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The location is perfect, within walking distance to all the major attractions and public transport. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and the cleanliness was truly impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I also loved the games room, which was a great spot to relax and meet other travelers!
