Great Value for money and decent location. Some very noisy other guests on our floor, who kept running up and down the corridors and slamming doors but that’s not the hostels fault. We didn’t use the common areas. We had a twin room which was a good size with a private bathroom. Bathroom was clean except the shower which was mouldy and smelled. Not often staff on duty if there was a problem but the location was fantastic for the old town! Check out the banned bookshop next door too, it’s pretty cool!
Great location, big spacious rooms. Our room was on the 2nd floor (triple). Very clean, shared bathroom but it was just across the hallway so no problem. There is a big kitchen with everything you need and dining room. Not many tourist there at the moment so very quiet place. The manager was a friendly guy, we got there 2 days before lockdown so he gave us some good tips where to eat etc...
Location is perfect, quiet street but close to restaurants, bars and sightseeing. Our room was small but cute, Windows to church courtyard. Clean bathrooms, very tööd communal kitchen on 1st floor. No tourist at all, only locals due to covid. Convenient Electronic checkin.
Normally I don't stay in Hotels. But I want to save money and to stay in the old town of Tallin so I choose that hostel. I booked single room with private bathroom. Which was spacious enough. There were 2 beds, hairdryer I took at the resection. Also there were kitchen where I could make tea & coffee and keep food in the fridge. There were cooker, I haven't use it but I've seen people who did it. It's not such kind of hostel where many people meet in a living room. There were several families with kids and some solo travellers. Moreover you can take breakfast for only 6 euros in Reval Cafe which is 5 minutes walk. To be fair I've eaten only there after it because it was tasty, cozy and fast. If I need to stay in the center of Tallin I would deffo stay here.
We had a great stay there. I booked a room with private bathroom, nice and clean. Kitchen is very big, there were not many tourists when we were there so no queue. I liked the vending machine in the lobby because the bars were closed and we could buy some beers :). The contactless check-in was smooth, manager sent very informative email on the day of arrival. Overall a great experience!
I stayed in Munkenhof for 3 nights in December. Although there were mostly locals due to the current situation the guesthouse still had a very pleasent vibe. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, beds super comfy. The manager gave us extra blanket and pillows. Great location, supermarket is 3 minute walk away, We didn't go to bars but the manager was very friendly and reccommended us some good places to eat. Thanks guys and hopefully see you again next summer!
This is a very well run guesthouse. Super clean rooms (i stayed in a big triple room on the 2nd floor), manager is very friendly and helpful, Netflix is a plus. I liked the keyless system, all you need is a code to open doors. They also provide towels, which is not very common. Nothing to complain about, thanks guys!
It's a very nice guesthouse. I stayed in a dormitory which was very clean and comfy- nice soft bed, reading lamps and bedside plugs for charging your phone. They have a very convenient contactless check-in system. The host was super friendly and helpful, i would definitely stay there again!
Enjoying my stay in this guest house. Super friendly stuff and nice beds. I cannot ask more for the price. Would comeback. Since the arrival i had a lot of info on what to do and my requests were all fullfilled.
Very nice guesthouse in the middle of Old Town. We had a triple room which was super clean and spacious. There is a games room with foosball table and PS3 + different boardgames. The weather was quite bad when we were in Tallinn so we were watching movies every night in the basement cinema. For 36€/night for a triple room you really couldn't ask for more! 🙂
