The hotel is simple and modern - the public areas are relatively beautiful. The standard room is tiny and only suitable for sleeping - very simple and small. But there is impossible to sleep, because the walls sound very good - all guests, all activities can be heard :) breakfast was ok and the one positive aspect was free parking.
Basic room, maybe could use a bit updating in terms of the looks of the decorations, okay to sleep, breakfast okay. Corona was considered quite well (had sanitizers and signs clearly visible). The hotels own parking spaces were not marked very clearly so we got fined when leaving our car in front of the hotel but on the wrong row.
Great location in the pier. Fast reception service, rooms are recently renovated. Breakfast was really simple. Free car parking is very big bonus in Tallinn. Sunny outside bar teracce. Good hotel to late arrival to Tallinn and early morning wake up to drive to Riga.
Quite nice hotel. Clean room and contemporary shower. Basic breakfast but still containing all you need. Good location if you use Tallink ferry from Helsinki. Walking distance to city centre. Staff could use some smile. Unfortunately there is no minibar in the room and the lobby bar closes really early which is a pitty.
Since this hotel was right across the street from my ferry terminal, it was perfect for an early morning departure to Helsinki. My preferred hotel (albeit a mile away was sold out) so this lower grade Hestia had to do. It was basic, but fine. Older, but clean, except for the unpleasant smell in the bathroom upon arrival. The staff were absolutely lovely, and the food from the restaurant was fine. The bed was not great, but I slept ok. Being able to check out and literally be onboard the ship within 5 minutes was the goal and I was grateful for that. This truly is just a quick overnight pit stop...Nothing more. There is a mall with supermarket 5 mins away by foot from the hotel. There are some lovely restaurants and cafes inside so worth a quick visit. The Old Town is a 30 min walk uphill, otherwise the Uber cost around 6 euros. When you walk back down the hill from the old town, you will arrive in the main downtown and shopping area. The bus station is about a 10 min Uber drive from the hotel. Oh, even in the summer months its fairly cool to borderline cold during the day, so bring a sweater or light jacket.…
