Stayed here for two nights for it's location inside the old city and great price. It was a very pleasant stay. Located jn a quiet corner of the old town which ensurex a good night's sleep. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are simple but comfortable and well appointed. The included breakfast was a good variety. A checkout of 12 noon was another bonus. Very pleasant stay and highly recommended.
Don’t book a standard room here. Ridiculously small, you barely can walk into the room. I asked to change for another one with a larger bed (as my feet are out of the tiny ones they put in that one), they asked me 50€ more per night... The room is old, the wall are scratched, the bathroom is so small you can take a wee and shower at the same time. But the worst is this : there is moist on the wall in the bathroom. Breakfast is alright. TO CONCLUDE, I DON’T RECOMMEND AT ALL.
Room was ok although my side of the bed had a low ceiling and I had to be careful - breakfast very basic only ate there once. Receptionist was rude kept looking at her phone when I asked where the loo was.... not good
I stayed in Rixwell Old Town Hotel. Upon arriving at the hotel the Receptionist was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was okay. There was some odd food (herring, potato salad, cottage cheese etc). I stuck to the bakery items and a hot drink. The rooms were cozy but not bad for the price you pay. Good location. Felt safe.
Stayed here 2 nights in an economy twin room. Liked: + Convenient location in a quiet corner of the historical centre of Tallinn, very close to the tram stop "Linnahall" (Tram 2 - change to Tram 4: an easy and quick way to go to the airport) + Good beds and pillows + A mini-bar in the room, heated floor in the bathroom + Historical feel of the building + Porridge for breakfast - healthy! + Good value for money What could be better: - It's not a new hotel, so you feel it. The toilet seat is plastic. - Extra blankets in the room would be appreciated: it wasn't very warm at night. - Some strange options for breakfast: there's herring, potato salad but croissants and pastry seem to be in very short supply: we couldn't get any in 2 days. General impression: positive, if you're on a…
